Dear Per-Olov, thank you for this beautiful composition. I Lost my father very unexpectedly 23 years ago, and we never had the chance to really say goodbye to one another. Per-Olov, that was gorgeous and contemplative. I'm glad you're asking your father all those important questions while you still have him. I wish I could do the same, but sadly for me, all the older generation are now gone. Right now I'm clearing out my late mother's house. Sometimes I find photos, letters or items and I think "I wish I could ask Mam about that." But it's no longer possible. Thank you for your music and for keeping the old generations in my mind. They are always in my heart.

Per-Olov, what a beautiful composition, perfectly composed. You know, when you think about things that seem to be so important, like how many views you get on a video, or how many subscribers you get on your channel.......it doesn't even come close to the privilege Heather and I received to meet your dad in New York (and you!!) many years ago (wow, we're talking years now!). I loved asking him so many questions about his upbringing, and what life was like for him as a little boy. When I lost my dad four years ago, I thought I would be absolutely devastated, and I was, BUT...not at the level I thought. The reason being, because he lived to be 80, taught me so much that helped me get through life, served his country, and was the best dad ever. THAT is a reason to celebrate. I miss him every day, and talk to a picture of him from when he was in the Navy. I'm happy that your dad is still with us! Please give him two extra hugs today, one from me and one from Heather. Dear Per-Olov, It’s so moving, so intense and I think so complicated to write music while trying to put parts of life into it. The music written for your dad touches me so much The normal cycle of life, when not disrupted, makes us people who will one day lose loved ones, especially our parents. but no matter the age, we are rarely prepared for this. Out of modesty, out of FEAR too, the moments exchanged with one's parents at the end of life are too rare. I shouldn't write this but it's a beautiful life lesson that you bring to as many people as possible. Your dad is lucky to have a son so close to him and you are extremely lucky to still accompany him and to tell him how much you love him. I am in thoughts with you With love Michel

Oh, how sad is this, Per-Olov, I can exactly feel how you feel. Saying good-bye to our nearest persons, to our parents, is so hard. But it can as well have a certain beauty and intimity, more intense than ever. Spending as much time together as possible, being close to each other, is the best you can do. It gives us trust, and I believe that we all meet again some day, it is not a farewell for ever. I lost my parents 30 years ago, one after the other, and my partners 20 years ago, one after the other. Meanwhile many animals have gone too. I had very deep moments with them too. However, your piece is so beautiful, it expresses all you might feel and think. And so is the video of the lake, so nice nature, calm on its surface, always flowing water like the circle of life. I thank you for sharing your inner feelings with us and this piece of eternal beauty and I wish you much power in these days and a good time with your father however. Dear Per-Olov, thank you very much for this heart-warming music. I feel the love for your father. Almost 30 years ago my father passed away, 4 years later my mother. I was still very young, i quarrelled with the dear God, was in self-pety for a long time. In the meantime, i have my inner peace, i am grateful that i am so well and that i am healthy. Through the early death of my parents, i have learned to take good care of myself and my feelings when making important decisions, to give myself enough time - only decide or act when i am sure. Enjoy the time with your father, it‘s just the „shell“ that goes at some point, the soul remains. The love inside you, which will accompany and carry you. All the best and God‘s blessings. I almost feel I shouldn't comment on this piece, because it is so personal -- but it is a beautiful composition. I have been asked to play in public this weekend and have a variety of things to play for people. I am background music while they eat -- but people do always listen and clap their hands. And there is a "Kindgren" portion of my program -- The Beach, Latcho Drom, In My Arms, There Are Days I Cry For You -- those are the four I have been practicing -- though that just scratches the surface of your music I love.
