Great video, Beerdy! I remember going by myself as a kid to go watch The Octagon when it came out at the theater. My mom got me in because the film had an *R* rating (thanks, mom!). It was AWESOME! 🙏 Thank you Beerdy for always on your channel giving tribute to Bruce and showing great respect to him and his family. 🙏🐉☯

I met Chuck in the Philippines around 1988. He was filming at a house right down the road from mine and when I heard about it, being a huge fan of his films (especially Return of the Dragon and Lone Wolf McQuade) I immediately ran over there with a pen and paper hoping to get his autograph. I was the only one standing outside the house and when he eventually came out, he couldn't have been nicer, signing a huge signature for me which is hanging on the wall beside me right now. One of the nicest memories of my childhood.

Chuck Norris was an honorary speaker and judge at my first belt exam for Tae Kwon Do. He promoted me from white belt to orange. I was 12. That was 54 years ago.

Grew up in SoCal and was a student of Nishiyama Sensei, having started in 1963. Once I reached brown belt level, Sensei wanted me to compete in tournaments. I recall the first tournament and my first match - my opponent was Chuck Norris. Chuck was actively competing then in every tournament he could enter, and I lucked out, having Chuck as my first opponent. There is no long story here! He made very short work of me! Alas….

Chuck Norris became a part of world culture forever. He was one of pioneers of martial arts genre...

When I was in third grade we had a project called Celebrity Trash and we wrote and asked for random scraps of stuff from famous people. I wrote Chuck and he sent me a pile of old Karate stuff from his filing cabinet including a yearbook of his 1968 tourneys and an autographed picture of him with two Uzis from Invasion USA. 😁Too cool!

I watched Enter the Dragon 49 times in the theater...i sat through 3 screenings at a time most of the time.

The part about Chuck teaching high kicks to Bruce being untrue is misunderstood. Chuck clarified that you should have the option of doing high kicks which Bruce then incorporated into his own style. It's not that Chuck taught Bruce how to kick high but he demonstrated that high kicks are effective if you can do them properly. That's what Chuck meant, not to limit yourself to low kicks only.

It’s good to appreciate people who are no longer with us but often times we don’t appreciate those living with us…

Legends never die when their legacy outlives those that knew the legends. We have two legacies whose legends will live on forever.

Chuck Norris was my motivator to interest in martial arts in my youth. Amazed he still looks great for his age.

Still the greatest fight scene ever. Even to this day. The best thing about their fight scene,is the reality behind it. I don't think any other martial artists could've pulled it off.

Chuck Norris was always a class act. Even after he found out that "Chuck Norris Facts" were kinda making fun of him. It did take him a bit to get over it but he eventually embraced it. I mean, if he wasn't such a badass dude in the movies, people wouldn't have taken the time.
