Human beings are not very good at rapid repetitive precision work, especially if they have to move around. I would either set up machines to do the step by step precision wiping of airplane/train/bus/taxi/boat seats, or have humans with ammonia foggers.

I worked at an airport for a number of months. During that time and at this particular airport there was very little to no measures in place for tsa, baggage, loading, food service, utility staff etc.

At what point do we look into criminal charges of reckless endangerment for officials that have put the public at risk?

I have a friend who is Covid-19 positive. She got it from baggage at the airport.

I recently flew from Miami to Dallas and Dallas to Madrid . Miami to Dallas flight was crowded but the one from Dallas to Madrid had space between each passenger..

I live inToronto. Saturday I picked up library books curbside. I was required to show my library card by placing it code side up so it could be scanned without touch. I could then retrieve my card and my books were placed on the table in a bag for me. This is a library following phase 2 city wide directives. Why in God’s name are these airline employees and their valued passengers not offered a better way to protect themselves?

The last time I was on a plane was in 1992. I can't fly. I can't be on a boat (of any size) in the open ocean. I'm toast either way. IF I find myself on a boat in the middle of the ocean all I can do is to be the "Chum Master" onboard (a little acidic perhaps)!

Liquor store near me has a huge plastic plate separating the customer from the cashier. They have masks. and rubber gloves and do the distance. My liquor store has more safety then the TSA? At least no one died yet, and it gets packed.

It would be better to not wear gloves. You just wash hands and sanitize between people. Gloves give a false sense of security.

We nurse change gloves between patients I think ALL essential workers should change gloves between customers. They are protected, but we're not.

During the post WW2 era, NATO/OTAN was formed and the US Senate ratified the treaty. During that time, intelligence was gained that the USSR and Mao were developing, and training with a doctrine that included Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical (NBC) attacks. It was believed the up to 300 Russians a year were killed just training in this doctrine. NATO/OTAN directed that all member states were to develop plans with the other member states to withstand, cope with, and overcome NBC attacks. Each state was directed to stockpile, and maintain in serviceable condition, the equipment for NBC environments, and not just for the military's, but also for the civilian populations. This treaty doctrine was also ratified by the Senate.This may not be a direct attack from a declared enemy, but its impact on the population equals such, so why hasn't the DOD, as obligated by the Senate ratifying the treaty, been bringing forth the materials they were directed to maintain? If the Senate ratifies a doctrine or any part of a treaty, it become Federal law. Why haven't the Joint Chief's been brought to account for this failure?

Let me tell you about voter suppression in Texas. The republican congress passed a law that everyone has to get a new drivers license by November or you can't vote. Even if your license is still valid for years, you can't vote. You can drive, but not vote. You have to go to the drivers license office with an original copy of your birth certificate, and it has to have a raised seal on it, wait for several hours, and pay about $80.00 for this new license, or you can't vote in November. Most Texans I have talked with don't even know about this new law.

It was multiple things. None of the officers so much as looked at him. Didn't check to make sure he COULD breathe or attempt to alter his position just in case. Didn't lean over to see what the witnesses were talking about regarding his bleeding from nose or mouth. He was not fighting or no longer trying to jerk away. He was securely in custody with cuffs and on the ground so ZERO threat of escaping. It was over an alleged counterfeit (innocent until proven guilty) non-violent crime. All of that and more.

I think the news media in this country should be subcontracted out. How about the BBC?
