What happened Was that they got arrested at a border guard check point. There were only two soldiers at the post. So one of them left the post to seek reinforcement from the next bg post. Soon as he left they requested to be allowed to pee. The guard brought them a bucket and they overpowered him, put the bucket over his head, stabbed him and escaped.
