Cast your mind back to the mid to late 70s...Hot studio setting with tight space to move in and many instruments and players waiting to drop their solo so that it can be mixed down stripped down and reworked so that this dub session could come together after hours and days of re-recording dub masterpieces. You could cut the sweaty air with a knife! The technology back then was basic compared to what came later. All done in a monaural format probably, with the result being as sweet today as it was when it was first pressed on 7'' singles. A shame those times have gone. Today's dubs are decent but they lack the horn sections and percussion back then when version excursion was the norm on one wooden record deck! Glad I got to go see what all those dusty run-down studios still possess...An air of musical genius: King Tubby!

King Tubby is the best of the best. Thanks youtube algorithm:) It helped me find Scientist and then I discovered the King! You can't not like this music, don't care who you are. There's a really cool documentary about him out there in youtubeland. Guy was a true inventor and innovator. He basically invented EDM. I don't care for any other type of it but this is a high form of musical art. s

I hate whoever put this together because he managed to only collect the most generic tracks from Tubbys body of work. Nothing here comes even close to Tubbys albums with Harry Mudie or his Dangerous Dub albums or In A Tenemant Yard or his album with Morwell Unlimited. This here are basically the tracks thatb even Tubby himself did not release. After Tubby got shot this tapes were stolen from his studio and tons of crappy nonofficial "albums" came out and they all sounded like shit because it were mainly the mixes that Tubby himself rejected.

They are: Destroy Dub Style - Leroy Smart meets Aggrovators Wreck Up A Version - King Tubby Bionic Horn Dub - King Tubby (yours) There is another song called "Tribulation" of Don Carlos which its dub version shares the same rhythmic patterns and harmonies, the same feeling.
