Yeah, the outside part of the pivot looking cool or not is immediately visible, but it's the invisible inside parts that make the biggest difference. I really love the way Brian handled it on this one!
Ah that sucks. IIRC, the one I had in was sensitive to lock bar pressure, but also I sometimes found myself just pushing in the wrong direction (slightly too angled toward the pivot), and it would feel like it was locking up. I didn't experience that at all with this Corvus -- the positioning of the studs and the way the lockbar work are both quite different -- and I would argue better -- here.
@@brianhughes7042 unfortunately, they never released that configuration. The knives in this video are the prototypes they had made before the final production configurations were settled upon.
