Since Joseph Alessi's move to S.E. Shires we have been really enjoying the resultant tenor trombones, both the Custom and Q series instruments! However, we have been excitedly waiting to spend time with his alto trombones as well and when our first Q series Alessi Alto arrived we wanted to grab a video with it right away! The TBQAlessiAlto shares a number of similarities with his tenor, both in design and in it's playing, and on first glance we found it to be a very easy playing instrument with a rich, warm sound, excellent intonation, a great upper register and awesome power at upper dynamics!
