People do realise the band is under the age of 20, new on the scene, just got a number one record, and have a very original sound. Don't judge them purely on a cover, go listen to some of their original material. Actually got some good new music coming out and people just want to put it down. The Lathums are fantastic already, imagine what they'll be in ten years.

For those slating em or saying they're shit, you should see them live in front of an audience. One of the best live bands around at the moment especially considering they're relatively small.

Brilliant to hear that indie sound again, I can here The Smiths and The Housemartins in there which is just fantastic. They have some great songs of their own and the youth now finally have something decent to listen to. Im 51, have been a huge music listener for a lifetime and love this band.

Seen these lads support Weller.... Since I have been listening to their catalogue.... Lyrically brilliant..... Equally I loved the original and this doesn't disappoint.... Rarely do cover versions.... Nice One Lads.

Saw them last November when they supported Kasabian. I'd never heard of them before not a note of music. They're young lads and bloody good, I think their sorted, getting on their feet and know what to do, how to do it while enjoying it and they deserve it. What a voice he's got, you must hear them live ✌

For every negative comment about these kids shows everything that is wrong with music these days,all about looks for some sadly,pathetic.These boys are musically talented and the frontman can sing so away and listen to your pretty boy bands and let us who actually enjoy music enjoy them.

Better than the original but all the old men in the comments will spit on anything new 🤷‍♂️

The point of a cover is to make it sound similar or your own spin on it, not the worst I’ve heard

Good band tackling a difficult number and making a great job of it, only thing, OMG, the WRONG guitar for that number.

Great voice. However the front man lacks charisma which may be a barrier for them

It's not the best is it. Straight cover, but without the punch of the original or the bitter sweet vocal delivery. Can imagine it being down the local youth club.

How to make a great song sound dull. Squeeze would be turning in their grave lol
