It's not if you understand the legal system. Devin actually has a great case. If the NYSAC gets subpeona'd and Ryan admits guilt in any of the transcripts during his hearing, it'd just be the cherry on top. Regardless, what happened with NYSAC was suspicious.

The amount of osterine found in Ryan's system was very minimal, and they didn't find any in his hair test, meaning it was accidental and it didn't benefit Ryan at all. So Devin is just salty he got beat up and now he is just trying to erase that L, guess what you got beat up and they're is not going back from that. He also lost against Lomachenko and got a gift decision. He needs to take his L like a man and back to fighting.

2 days before the fight Bill Haney publicly said that he was sending his son to kill Ryan. Ryan has a valid argument for self-defense because of that. That self-defense argument becomes more credible because Devin Haney's strength and conditioning Coach is a convicted dispenser of PEDs, with a proven ability to create substances to mask its use. Devin is opening a can of worms, and there will be blowback. Everything said and done before and after that fight will come under deposition. However, the kicker for Ryan will be the public threat made by Bill Haney because that is unprecedented.
