Just to add, On DSOD, most low concealment builds have great armor gatingbut get like 2-3 shot without. what makes leech so great is its segmented. meaning damage is percent of your health not a number. so you can take 10 shots or more if you have FAK and use them before you go down if you run out of health. Also if you take cover or rush a group of cops you can come out with more health
its not that OP on lower difficulties but its very OP on DS difficulty bc without armor you die after 1 shot (if you dont play muscle perk deck) and with leech you die after 10 shots + you can heal when you kill 2 ppl lol
ngl i used leach and be in the frontline tanking all the bullet with decent dodge build (to have some breathing of course) on open map the 10% heal is alot ngl, my team almost never get downed l
+A straight support perk deck if your team has a lot of armour, pairs EXTREMELY WELL with Stoic or Grinder +A good way to finish off long objective interactions, and a way to reduce your overall damage income as well as unconditional health regen -a gimmick relying entirely on when you're down or your teammate is down -you take more damage if you use it on lower difficulty (mayhem below)
You do go down if your health drops to 0 when you're using leech if you do not regain at least a single segment of health before it runs out by killing cops or using a first aid kit
Here's a hidden insane feature of leech, if you stand on static fire that deals 4 ticks of dmg a second (similar to the fire on hotline Miami cars or even firestarter explosive barrel) While you have Leech up and you stand on these fire areas, you trick the game into thinking you're taking a crazy amount of damage so each tick counts as a 10% segment heal. But because fire damage is so low it doesn't count as "damage" per say and you'll need to take around 6 ticks in order to lose one bar. It's hard to explain but fire is your teammates best friend with leech. Only thing that sucks is that using a Molotov or any other incendiary ammo that creates a puddle of fire doesn't tick nearly as fast as static ones. Tldr: standing on fire with leech can out heal a turret
Fun fact:if you use revenant skill that you have 30% chance to go up when you die,you could actuly use the perk throable and have a chance to simply revive. It heapens to me.
I dislike these videos because it's misleading. Anything can be overpowered in payday 2 if you know what your doing with it. This game was so feature creeped that anything is good. I love it.
I think the nerfs its received over the updates have made it more balanced. Granted, I ain't saying it is balanced, but it requires a hell of a lot more thought on when to use it.
Sounds like a Leech user and beserker need to actively stay next to each other in a match if you're tryna speed run the highest difficulties early for cash
Amazing for DSOD as you can take more shots. Also if you have a good damage output or something for lots of enemies like akimbo smgs then you almost won't die
