I never really followed her ministry, just her husband's and her children's, but whoa ive been missing out. I'm here after watching and hearing all those beautiful things that were said about her at her home going. Inspiring is in understatement!

I don't know why I never I watched her cause I watch Tony and their kids all of the time but I'm glad I saw this now cause I have another source added to my collection fab go to ministers! My Grandmother for most of her life was not loving to us or my mom! My mom was broken because of her! At the end of my moms life she accepted Jesus praise God!

I was introduced to URBAN ALTERNATIVE via radio station 90.1 FM here in Chicago IL by my Dear Mother Missionary Minnie Sartin as a child in grammar school. It was then that I listened Urban Alternative to here great teachings from Dr. Tony Evans and sometimes Most Gracious 1st Lady Dr. Lois Evans too because of my Mother. By the time i got to High School I looked forward to those days when I was out on Spring break, Summer Break, and or just out of School for not feeling well. By the time I was in College i listened faithfully on my own because I wanted to listen to Urban Alternative by radio, or Moody Bible for those times when Dr. Tony Evans was guest speaker for Founder's Day for Moody Bible Institute here in Chicago IL. I was in my Mid twenties where life quickly became more of a challenge that my ears looked forward to listening during my lunch hours inside my car. There were times when both Dr. Tony & 1st Lady Dr. Lois Evans shared at the same time together, and they complimented each others Bible Truths so very well that I became confident in my heart kne that the situation I was in that God was sure to pull me through! I've ordered CD'S, books that shall remain as treasure truths of revelation in my heart. I have great appreciation for these Kingdom Heritage Excellencies even til now, and I shall continue to listen and support until the LORD comes again... I have listened to their Daughter Priscilla and now their Son Pastor Jonathan teaching the Word of GOD with clarity and understanding... I can't help but to be in amazement to here Kingdom Legacy being simultaneously carried out together in UNITY!!! HALLELUJAHHHH this is what I've longed to see all of my life until now age 51. It can be done without out confusion and heighten anxiety and stress... What a beauty her 94 year old mother was! And what a testimony about how important family is and the importance of not only teaching your children about God but living that life. Wouldn’t that have been a wonderful family to be a part of.
This is the first time I have heard of this beautiful soul and Dr. Evans, I am sorry for your families loss. We pray for you all. At 17:38, she said mom could sew and didn’t need a pattern, my mom had that gift too. I never forget in jr. high a teacher told me “you can’t make anything without a pattern” ( meaning those store bought McCall patterns). I was perplexed and said well my momma makes dresses for us all the time without this. Teacher leaned into my face and said it again, but I just dismissed her cause mom made matching dresses for herself and one for my sister and me. When I was much older and blessed with daughters, almost 20 years ago I stayed up after everyone was sleep and made myself a pretty pink flowery dress just like momma did and of course one for my daughters that we wore to church all pretty in pink. I think I still have them in the back of their closet. Momma introduced all of us to JESUS too, thank God for the foundation, but you have to have your own personal relationship with God by The Way, The Truth and The Light. At 32:00, she right, I have seen evildoers rise and fall before me cause God took care of it!
I never really listened to her, but since her death i've been listening, i thank God for her life it has really blessed my life, cannot stop listening to her.
True legacy, I prayed for a mother like her and still are, I'm born in a muslimfamily, where there was no love and a mother who did not no how to love her childeren. This blessed me so much! Its like she was speaking to me. My mom and grandma has not been an example i needed to follow; but her teaching is showing me to be in Christ and he will help me create legacy for my family and generations.
I am amazed at the Evens family. I have been following the daughter Priscilla as a actress and minister of the word for a couple years now, did not realize that she was the daughter of the pastor at Oak Cliff Baptist Fellowship in Dallas, TX., 30mins from my home. This family is amazing and it saddens me that I did not realize Mrs. Evens until after her passing a couple of days ago. She is such a blessing and what a LEGACY she has left.
Today is June 15, 2024, and I truly needed to hear this. God in His Sovereigncy allowed me to click on this message because He knows what I need. My first time hearing her sermon .Something about big families n their struggles ..As am a daughter of s family of 10 children n... 9 were pure girls ..my Only brother passed away at 2 yrs .. but my mother was a QUEEN ABOVE all of us .. n yes life was difficult and when times were such ..my mom went back to prayer ..n brought us with her .. I too, didn't really follow Dr. Lois Evans Ministry only a little bit, for Pastors Wives Ministry. But wow she a Proverbs 31 Woman & a Titus Woman of God. I saw her Homegoing, and it was so fully full of Jesus I never had a such a tremendous experience to want to Pray for her oil to fall on me, that is just how much she touched me. All the responses from her friends and the lessons I gleaned from all who spoke it was wonderful. Now let her Legacy she left for Kings Daughters live on til Jesus comes. ❤❤❤❤
I really appreciated this teaching. It's funny that my mothers name is Lois and Dr. Evans resembles her so much. But, even though I was introduced to the church at a young age, the foundational teaching of the scripture was not in my household. I loved my Granny, who didn't raise her children and I love my mom who only stood by 2, out of 4 of hers and I wasn't one of the 2. I'm okay with that today, because I know Jesus, who is the keeper of my soul, He's my strength, He's my peace, My hope, my provider, my beginning and He's my ending. So, despite what I didn't get from others, I thank God that He's blessing me to build a great legacy for my daughter, my future grandchildren and for allowing me the opportunity to be an encouragement and blessing to many more. God bless you, Mrs Evans and I pray that God's hands of healing will rest upon you... He will enable you to continue on this incredible journey in ministry for many more years to come.
