For anyone on the fence about upgrading from the 35w version, it’s definitely worth it. They really should just call this the Ecstasy 50 though. Great amp & this demo was outstanding, as usual!

Of all the amps I’ve known and loved, I think I miss my old 101B the most. I just couldn’t stand the foot switch. It was obnoxious. The blue channel on this guy is killer! Great video!
Great playing Michael! Great writing, always a joy. I have the 3534 35 watt running through a Fryette PS2 A and absolutely love running it either solo, or in tandem with a Bogner Helios 100/30 watt head through my cabs old school while tracking at home. Lots of great tones abound. You're spot on with the early version being more compressed than this latest 50 watt iteration. Bogner always has great gain structures and response towards "playing" the amp. It's a fantastic version of the Ecstasy Line, and a little more gentle on the pocket than the full 100 watt. I enjoy your work.
I might have bought one if it was a little cheaper but since i have the synergy ecstasy module and i`m perfectly fine with it, i decited to go with the evh 50w stealth for half the price instead . cheers 💪🎸
@@Ibanezguy2007 haha yes for sure! the bogner uberschall is more compareable but almost three times the price so both bogner synergy modules w have bern the best option for me 👍
That intro track was killer! I’m really digging this amp. I can’t believe how good that clean channel is. It’s Bogner, so of course the dirty channel is great. Lol.
Great playing. Bogner amps have that foggy/chesty dark sound some like, not for me but doesn't diminish these classy pro videos in any way. Excellent demos.
So the Helios Eclipse has been at the top of my bucket list of amps for a while, and now they come out with a 50 watt ecstasy!? It sounds awesome... by the way. I loved the opening track. I downloaded it immediately,...Cheers.
You have a habit of making everything sound SO good; but as a former Bogner Ecstasy owner - you REALLY make this sound good. Now I want one of these. LOL. Killer song too.
I miss my XTC Classic. Never should have sold it. Strongly considering one of these but trying the Synergy XTC module this week first to see if it can satiate me for... a while. LOL

I’ve got the original 3534. The biggest difference I hear is in channel three. It’s as saturated as this amp on full with the gain at 11:00. I actually just bought a 5751 tube to try to take the gain.
Yeah 2 and 3 are revoiced a bit to be closer to the XTC 20th anniversary. Also this model and the new 2023 3534 has a new effects loop that fixes the noise problem of the original 3534 effects loop.
@@Mr_Woodchuck how did the 5751 do in taking the gain down? I'm on the fence about trading my 35 watter for the 50 but would like to see how this worked for others. Love both these amps!
Waiting to buy one when they change the name to what it should have been in the first place. Ecstafifty! Hurry up, Rheinhold, or I'll trademark it before you do.😉 These aren't hand-wired, are they? I also heard that Bogner doesn't release their schematics. Those things make me worry about when it comes time to make repairs. I wish I could A-B this one with a Goldfinger 45 SL. Bogner rocks! Friedman and Soldano too!
Michael, I’d love to hear you play a semi hollow guitar (335-style or Gretsch) through that Ecstasy. The riffs would sound so huge the room might collapse, in second thought, it was better you didn’t have a semi hollow by your side. 😂😂😂😂😂 Jokes aside, great playing, and I’d love the semi hollow playing through that beast of an amp.
