Okay, I don't know what this gal's 'situation' is, but at some point in this arc, she's gonna have to become an ally of ours. She's just too bad ass to be a nemesis the entire arc. Her crew...a different story, but she's gonna come around.
No real need to hurry. There’s still another game before this one that isn’t even coming out for two years. Who knows how long it will take this one to be localized.
Fie doesn't have all cancel tho (and her "clones" are afterimages while Shizuna can make an actual clone of herself like Vergil's doppelganger. Like father, like daughter)
um CGInferno, please tell me.. can I play this in japanese and not die? Are the gameplay mechanics hard to get if you don't know japanese ? I only know a little.. but this game looks so cool.. what do you think?
Late reply but no, she has that ability naturally, she's probably in a league of her own for the current divine blades we have seen. it's the unclouded eye that rean utilises but she takes it to another level
February Night channel do eng sub unofficial for trails game but you have to wait two or three months for it, of course this engsub only for showing, not for playing
@@cydzerlight1383 No, Shizuna's ability to read other people's minds is not because of Spirit Unification, but rather an "eye" ability (I forgot its name).
@@user-lg8ps6ky6u and she can only do that at her spirit unification mode right? Exclusive to only her i guess? I mean van did mentioned this eye ability so yea
She seems like a fan fic character. A mysterious white haired girl who beat the protagonist of the last arc and uses an unheard of 8 Leaves style called Zeroth Style? And shr can do Spirit Unification?! No. She's far from best girl. But, I will reserve my judgment of her until I play this game or complete the Calavard Arc.
She is playable later. How much depends on certain choices you make. Regardless she isn’t really a main character in this game. The sequels will probably expand on her.
Yep. Probably for many years. Well the spreadsheet overlay from Zero Field will probably be available later this year. That’s not really the same as a full translation though.
So im seeing Alisa, a younger Sara, and a different colored hair.. forgot her name the 15yr old one with the duel daggers. It's been a long time lol... last year. I can't wait to lose ALL my memories and play the entire thing again though!!
Wait. You are stuck with only 4 party members at max again? What happened to the support/reserve slots for your other characters? Were they removed? I take it that you can’t switch members mid-fight now.
@@blackyraypatrick9041 In the cutscene, there are at least 7-8 characters. I know you only can have 4 active members while others are benched. I was asking if the tag switch mechanic was removed.
Isnt she supposed to be stronger than cassius and arios? She told Rean fighting them are boring. And she broke rean tachi with single strike.. I believe she is one of the master yun student too but i kinda mad that the men always portrayed to be inferior to girl at some point
Its not exactly like that what shizuna meant is that compared to all the senior of 8 leaves rean is more interesting in that he is not an uptight kind of person
She seems a bit Mary Sue... why can she use Spirit Unification? Why is she so young and yet is also a divine blade? why is she using a never before mentioned 8 Leaf form called 0th Style. I want to like her but she seems very mary sue... I will withold judgment until i play the game myself tho.
I mean, Rean probably could have achieved all the same feats in CS1 if it weren't for the whole shattered ego thing he had going on. I'm pretty sure everyone who has eight leaves training is bound to be OP. xD
She’s just 1 year older than Rean. So if he could do it why couldn’t she? You also gotta take into consideration that a lot of other people in Zemuria also managed to achieve monstrous strength at a young age. So it isn’t that surprising that Shizuna could achieve it. Also taking into factor that she’s part of Ikaruga, would also help her a lot in developing her skills
@@westenev No, Rean was still Beginner level. He did not graduate to intermediate until CSIII. We have not seen Cassius, Richard, Anelace or Arios use Spirit Unification (however in the case of Arios and Cassius they're already very, VERY powerful).
@@ventoc7274 Ok, so why could Rean achieve it? Due to his ogre power. This pushed him to his physical limits. Add to it that this ability is caused by him having the heart of the Lion Emperor's reincarnation in his body, I can justify Rean achieving this skill. Two senior disciples of Yun Ka Fai, Cassius and Arios have never demonstrated the ability to use Spirit Unification and they are arguably more accomplished than Rean and Shizuna. Most characters in Zemuria reach a certain age when they become very powerful. The only exception demonstrated in the series so far that has achieved monstrous power at a young age is Aurelia Le Guin, who was on par with most adults when she was a student at Thors and became a master of two styles in her twenties. Why does Aurelia not fall into my concern of Sueism? She's in her mid 30s when we're introduced to her. Shizuna is much younger. Besides, we already had a light haired OP swordswoman. So far, at best Shizuna seems a rip of Aurelia, at worst, she could be a potential Sue. But it's still early, will give benefit of the doubt.
So tired of this constant "cutscene incompetence". Every time you mopping floors with anonther boss, wining with full hp and bam another cutscene and all party is on the ground crying about how "strong" another clown-boss is and there is no chance and blabla bla. So lame. If they want to show some "unbeatable enemy" with plot armor, why not make ONLY the cutscene without battle?
At least, pre-Kuro games don't do that exactly. The bosses are all like: "geez, protag team is strong and have some great fight in them, but we're just giving our 50% of strength". Which is fitting, considering the parties in trails games (be it Estelle's group, SSS or Class Vll) are rookies making their way to the top butting their heads against people that are in the pinnacle of strength in the Trails universe.
Exactly, im not a fan who likes to fight the same boss 2-3 times just because of plot armor. Where is the element of surprise of the boss moveset and abilty if we already know most of them from the previous fight(s) and also the thrill from facing them for the 1st time. One example is the osborne boss battle in cs4. He already been foreshadowed as one of biggest threat in the upcoming arc since the sky arc. but halfway in cs4 we already fight him? For me that makes the fight with osborne in the final dungeon is a bit underwhelming. Mcburn also suffers heavily from this because of many boss battle we had from him since cs2.
I would see an easy way of fixing this, is to only get a boss to a certain percentage of health. They would have their stats from later on in the game, but would only do basic attacks. I would love if they made a tough boss where the objective was to get them down to 95%-90% health. It would make it obvious your not ready to beat them.
Personally I think trails games are an average turn based RPG with exceptional music and mediocre story, imo ys is by far falcoms better franchise and I only really buy trails games because the gameplay is passable and it supports falcom. If I could have the company ditch trails and focus solely on making ys games every year I would do it without a second thought.
