Been listening to this for few days now, and have to say this has to be the most calming music ever. I feel like playing all Trails in the sky, Trails of Azure and Trails of Cold Steel entries again, will probably do it soon with all of side quests :d

its songs like this and many others that I think surpass those of the cold steel series, i don't hate the cold steel series or anything I enjoy them but I much prefer the trails in the sky trilogy. Especially the music.
Opposite for me, I just started this series a couple of years ago with Cold Steel 1. Then played 2 and played sky series after it got SO much hype and while this is a good song, I prefer cold steels tracks overall but to each their own.
The music is better because the micro-story is better in Trails in the Sky. Once they went with bloated casts and harems, the music became less personal and suffered for it. The world building and the micro-story remain intriguing, but I think Falcom's sacrificed too much of what made me fall in love with these games.
