I havnt play any of them I bought everyone when it went on sale il play them when I get them all I’m missing reverie and I’m missing the dark arc that hasn’t released global yet

@@shadowprince426 Why wait at all? Japan is like 2 games ahead of global and each game is like 60-80 hours, you'll be waiting forever at the rate they drop these games.

@@shadowprince426 you should start playing them now, the saga won't end for another decade or two, they keep pumpimg out games and I'm willing to bet the calvard arc isn't the end.

The Legend of Heroes has become my *ALL TIME FAVORITE JRPG,* surpassing even the likes of Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger IMO!

Bro try Granblue fantasy relink! Look up some gameplay but not the 2d one the 3D version it’s absolutely amazing l. Had no idea about it until I saw it on a gamer channel & it was one of the best games I’ve played this year. Action packed, magic, dragons, awesome weapons and a party of 4 like final fantasy 7. I could go on but totally check it out! 10/10 they nailed it & im obsessed trying to find similar games

@@JetBlack2024Can’t play great games like Xenoblade and Fire Emblem on PC. Or wait for FF7 Rebirth to drop on pc. Some people prefer the old school console experience and don’t want to mess with all the complications of pc.

dude, seriously! i just finished up cold steel 4 and thought i could take half a year off of the series, then nisa had to drop this on us. i thought maybe the earliest this would come out would be near the end of 2024 but not in the middle of it... sigh... guess i gotta start up the next game...

I mean it would have been pretty bad if it wasn't. That's already almost three years past the Japanese release date. If they couldn't get it out in the same time it took to do Reverie that would have been dire. As it stands the games already take three times as long to localize as they do to actually make. So really, this is less "it's impressive they got this out so soon" and more "this is the longest they could have waited without it being completely unreasonable."

@@sheridanmovieguy bro, you do realize how niche this game series is right? NIS has a lot of projects, and Trails is definately lower on the priority list. You also have to consider that they are some of the biggest scripts in JRPG’s with a team of maybe 3 people max translating (some Trails games were literally translated by one person.) You should also know that they didn’t get a head start like the Chinese localizers. Reverie just came out as well, which you’d think would reset the clock on Kuro localization. I didn’t think we’d see it till 2025.

@@Pimpgamer101 by one person? man that's crazy. maybe that is the reason Sen No Kiseki has a cutted script here and there. but with ChatGPT now available, hopefully future game translation is going to be a little better even with just a single person

Honestly since I've been trucking along with the Sky trilogy, it's nice getting voice overs at all. Haha!

As someone who's played Kuro I think the voices sound fantastic. Van sounds exactly how I wanted him to. Elroy is one I was worried about because he sounds so distinct in Japanese but I really like the snippet in this trailer. He sounds deliciously evil.

If you haven’t played the previous games you will not fully understand a bunch of things and characters, but you will enyoy the game the same. Obviously, if you know what happened in Crossbell arc and in Cold Steel series you will love it much much much more! But you can start from this one, it’s a great game and the start of the new arc ❤

Yeah, the game looks fun but no way am I sitting through 9 previous titles (dating back to 2004) just to understand what's happening.

Why not play normally like Sky, Crossbell, Cold Steel in order?

​@@dvornikovalexei He probably didn't had a Steam Deck or a PC before, the Sky series is on last, last, last generation like PSP (I think PS3) and PC obviously. I also have a Steam Deck and I am now playing the Sky series is amazing! Now almost done with the second game Sky SC and is beautiful! ❤️

@@Official_RetroMania It runs on decade old laptops and you can emulate the psp using a phone as well. I'm just saying if he wanted to invest the time, should have played in order

​@@dvornikovalexei The simplest explanation I can give you is I'm a console gamer. I was introduced to the Trails series on the PS4 with Cold Steel. I jumped in at an amazing time because while playing Cold Steel, the Crossbell Arc hit consoles. In my mind I wouldn't get the chance to play the Sky series because it wasn't on console. The Steam Deck provided me the most console-like experience to be able to play those games (and even now it's not 100% perfect). I understand the best way to tackle the series is play in order but, luckily, there are alternative routes for those who simply can't get hold of the Sky trilogy. For me, at the time, I had to go one of the alternate routes because I didn't have access to Sky. Plain and simple.

He's very different which I think makes him stand out a lot, other characters are always adamantly against working with anyone remotely criminal unless absolutely necessary but he has a little bit more of a gray area which is awesome.

@joseph86255 did I say better? Pretty sure I didn't, I was only saying in contrast to Rean, Estelle and Lloyd he stands out in that way and it makes him a little bit more interesting, even if only on surface level since I haven't played the game and surface level is all we have rn in the west.

This game is them upping their graphics department.

Kuro have better graphics thanks to Falcon's in-house engine, Reverie's cutscenes were rendered with the new engine as a teaser.
