Imma drummer and I can say this is exactly like that. This kind of beats are called "blast beats" and fucking harsh to play. You look like you are constipated
I did some math. There are 5,088 notes in this song. The first 29 notes (not in 4x) add up to be 1,475 points. Every note in 4x is 100 points. So 506,375 (YOUR SCORE) -1,475 (FROM FIRST 29 NOTES) =505,900. The next part is 505,900 (RESULT FROM STEP 1) /100 (WHAT YOU EARN FROM NOTES IN 4x) =5,059. Finally, adding the 29 notes (out of 4x) to 5,059, you get 5,088!
The point of the bass drum in almost every piece where a kit is used is to keep tempo and help with subdivision... question though WHO THE HELL NEEDS TO SUBDIVIDE TO A 32nd NOTE
this is a great chart man, its way better than any expert chart because the bass is actually at the right speed, any other song with double bass (hammer smashed face, on broken glass) just sucks for it...good work man keep it up
If you readjust the tension in the spring (if that is the type of pedal you are using) then having the right tension within the pedal would make this possible no problem.....as long has you have dont some endurence and speed training .-.
i agree people nowdays seem to forget that all the techniques for double bass are taught on an acoustic kit. this takes alot of practice and maybe even a year or so for most people to even hit the right quads.
Obviously this song is possible in real life. It was done on a real kit with a real person when it was recorded. Jesus people, argue about something new.
Triggers are just, in guitar terms, amps for a drum head. It doesn't make you play any faster, it just makes all the hits consistent so there's no sound loss when going faster. It actually makes your sloppiness show MUCH easier.
@emothugg69 Double-bass, yes it's triggered, but that doesn't affect speed. Herpderp. It's just to keep the same sound for the bass so it sounds good for recording. The speed is due to the drummer using the heel-toe technique. Look up Brian Hood and he has a video showing it ( Ex- Mychildren Mybride drummer )
@SHAuriscope I understand the difference between autoplay and actual input. But kicherman said that the engine itself couldn't handle it, whereas the video shows it obviously can. As for the actual input, as I said earlier, you would probably need a good kick trigger and excellent pedals. That doesn't mean the game engine can't handle it though.
@thedominicanfather12 Yeah o_O. Although, it can be easier to have more notes on drums than guitar because more appendages are working. If you have double bass, you can drum with your left hand, right hand, left foot, and right foot. On guitar, there's only left and right hands.
Can anyone please explain me if there's a special version of Guitar Hero game series that is made for electronic drumming, or there's just a possibility to play any/most guitar hero game on any electronic musical instrument?? I need this knowledge immediately.
@HeavensBlack First of all neither Dimmu Borgir or Slipknot use triple bass. I don't know where you got that from. And does it really matter what he's using?
I didn't say the controller could take it or the pedals could take it. I said the game engine could take it. As you can see in the video, that's true. All you need is to find a kick trigger that can handle it.
You know what, for the fills, I think i may be wrong for this version, because the version i have on my mac is a different version. it sounds slightly different and i think the drumming may be a little different as well. but as for the rest of the parts i think are the same. Yeah if you could get some stems that would be awesome. See how trigger'd out that bass drum is.
