The Zádor Bridge is located northeast of Karcag, along the former post road between Pest-Szolnok-Debrecen. Zádorhid and the surrounding 71.5-hectare saline wasteland were declared protected in 1976. The foundation stone of the Zádor bridge was laid on November 27, 1806, and it was opened to traffic in 1809. The Zádor bridge was originally a nine-hole bridge and served as a model for the Hortobágy stone bridge completed in 1833. After the reconstruction of the Zádor Bridge, it acquired its present five-hole shape. The permanent waters have since disappeared, and nowadays this "bridge cast ashore" is a surprising sight
