Link MEME lmao, I'll never understand why people like you try to start arguments out of nothing. Then when someone calls you out for it, you go all passive "I didn't mean to offend anyone, or try to accuse the other person of doing SOMETHING wrong... I find that very funny and also sad. And if you don't understand why he made it, some people don't want to start from the old games, OR they just want to watch some in a specific order. Instead of thinking on one mindset of "trolling" people, just don't comment anything, even though I doubt you'd even care, but learn to let some things be.
Jandok Bookie: I wasn't creating an argument, if you'll look at my first comment^^^, (which you'll notice hasn't been edited,) there's the part where I said, "Not hating tho, just being a dick." That means that I have no actual problem with the comment. I was just pointing out an obscurity with the concept of the comment itself. I was bearing NO actual hatred or disapproval of the comment. Then other people, not even SonicStar917, but other people are getting triggered and are throwing actual shade at me for a throw away statement. If someone looking to start an arguement, its you, Jandok Bookie.
@@darylmason9041 yesss, same bro, def one of the best, very underrated, i live the dark tone, and this is one of the most athletic and badass Links we've gotten, i love that game
Everytime I hear the Ocarina of Time opening it takes me back to a time when when I was looked up to as a hero by my 4 younger bros. I would always beat dungeons and bosses that they couldn't.. All those intense battles, and when I won.. they all cheered me on.. It was truly great feeling. Sadly because of growing up with physical abuse, all my younger brothers except me are screwed up in the head and doing drugs or in gangs.. I am disturbed as well from growing up with that.. But boy does it nearly break my heart to hear that opening song and remember a time when we were all innocent and a team. I havent seen any of them in years. As much as I love OoT I cant touch it, it hurts too much playing it alone.
Wind Waker, to this day, is my absolute favorite, in terms of title and opening cinematic. Twilight Princess's title screen is a close second, Majora's Mask is third.
I just read aloud the words from the intro and i get chills. The biggest time was ... But the hero did not appear. Just the pause and the sad turnout man.
OoT intro gives me chills till this day. It’s simple yet beautiful and tells the story without giving anything away. His mission is to literally move across the 3D world of Hyrule! That’s what he’s doing in the intro! TP jacks that idea but I believe TP is the most cinematic Zelda
Back in the year of 2008, one of my friends, introduced to me to The Legend of Zelda series and that was Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess for the Nintendo Wii.
I was 6 when the first one came out in 1986. This so nostalgic for me. Brings me back to days when I was more full of wonder. I used to have dreams about the game.
My sister played Twilight Princess back in the year of 2013. Now, I’m in love with this game because Twilight Princess is now added to my favorite Zelda games.
BotW is one of the least iconic Zelda titles. It’s the most bizarre Zelda game and I hate how a lot of newer Zelda fans think that’s how Zelda is. Don’t get me wrong I love it to death. I’ve even earned the bragging rights of getting 100% on master mode. I freaking love it but it’s definitely the weirdest of them all.
@@arkofpolaris4646 Yeah, its pretty weird and most of it its out of context (though given we lost memory of everything, serves well its pourpose) but to talk of iconic, I'd say ocarina of time and majora's mask, and about weirdest, perhaps if only the plot wasnt so rushed, maybe it could have come out better.. Still, I like the game
I'm not sorry: The Windwaker story is the ABSOLUTE BEST intro/story out of every Legend of Zelda game. The music is immaculate and just incredible. It makes me wish there was a game with that exact story and we witness the destruction and come back when it's too late
Oh, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask for nostalgia... Love Wind Waker's and Twilight Princess... I'd have to say the most awesome intro is Skyward Sword's... very creepy, epic, and ominous.
I really love the shared title theme between the first four handheld games, not only is it a banger, especially the Four Swords version (and ESPECIALLY the Four Swords Anniversary version), but it also gives a sense of unity between them all. I wish Minish Cap would have continued the pattern, but I suppose they wanted to try something new, which is understandable.
To follow the timeline: 29:10 - Skyward Sword 23:00 - The Minish Cap 13:36 - Four Swords 06:14 - Ocarina of Time Defeated Hero Timeline: 02:28 - A Link to The Past 05:02 - Link's Awakening 10:46 - Oracle of Seasons 12:14 - Oracle of Ages 32:29 - A Link Between Worlds 35:16 - Tri Force Heroes 00:00 - Legend of Zelda 01:20 - Zelda II: The Adventure Link Ganon is Sealed Timeline: 16:57 - The Wind Waker 27:25 Phantom Hourglass 28:16 Spirits Tracks Ganon is Defeated: 08:32 - Majora's Mask 23:58 - Twilight Princess 21:45 - Four Swords Adventure 37:58 - Breath of The Wild
Just correcting the names, Defeated Hero is Okay but the "Ganon is Defeated" is actually the timeline where Link is brought to the past and basically nothing happened, and the "Ganon is Sealed" is what happened in the Timeline where Link defeated Ganon, and that link was sent to ur "Ganon Defeated" timeline.
My old ass saw that this was 7 years old and thought "oh man this is from like 2014 theres no botw" and then realized botw is 7 years old. I was in sixth grade gym talking to my geek friends about how we all were getting it on day one, and that was over SEVEN years ago. Hit me like an Octorok's boulder
I am writing this comment while I haven't finished Twilight Princess yet. At this point it's too early to say it's the best Zelda, but what I can say is that it has one of the best video game intros in history
Ocarina, majora, wind waker and twilight have the best ones and what all of them have i common is that they fit with their games tones Ocarina's is heroic, majora's is uncanny, twilight's is epic and wind waker's is peaceful
0:01 even though it never got a second copyright for being in America, the game is from 1987 since it's in English. The Japanese version came out in 1986, the US version in 1987.
The first LOZ game I bought as a kid was Phantom Hourglass, and I got to say, this was the best game ever for OG DS! The many runs I had of the game was insane! But the first one I played was OOT hehe
I like the first "Legend Of Zelda". Because I was born in 78 and it was my first Zelda game, (duh!) lol! Also, the ability to create that theme with an 8 bit limitation just can't be beat. It's easy to improve upon something, but it's hard as hell to actually CREATE it.
22:55 The People Of Hyrule Believed Their Land Was Safe. Until... The Legend Of Zelda: The Minish Cap Me: Sold Out In Stores And That Was The Worst Diaster Hyrule Ever Had...
I wish they would bring these intros and the attract mode back. They really get you hyped up when you put in the game and tease a bit of what’s to come
Cool video! If I could make a suggestion for a video, make a video of all the King Boo battles from Luigi's Mansion to Mario Party Star Rush. Please make this video
I love how OOT's Title screen starts in the sunrise and TP's starts in the sunset. (SPOILERs for Twilight princess (a lil bit) and Ocarina of time) like- this is SO cool because the Hero's Shade is actually Link from OOT, and TP is literally a "Ocarina of time chapter 2" type of thing. because... thinking about what happened in OOT in the end.. when link became a child again, was Ganon sealed early in the twilight realm. and this is SO cool. yor actually playing a totally different. it actually works thinking about the Goron mines = Dodongos cavern. Seabed temple ~= Water temple (Almost) or at least another part of it. forest temple = probably the same forest temple from OOT. and because of the timeline split- the downfall part, Ganondorf is actually sealed after Link is dead, so its basically ganon being sealed in a similiar place, and then controlling it so he can control hyrule.
its a petty mention of methodology and not a complaint im listing here (and i still liked your video because the work that goes into these videos usnt something to undermine for personal differences imo) but no bsx ancient stone tablets or mention of bsx satellaview intros at all doesnt quite add up to "all" intros in my math book. this isnt worth a debate or getting flustered as i know quite well how censorship and online copyright issues go, it just a personal matter of preference. that being said, great video and a very welcome trip down nostalgia lane, and one i enjoy quite often as a retro gaming fanatic lol. keep up the nostalgic videos as it is once again becoming a very lucrative and fan-driven market!
Ok so it’s not on here but in PHantom Hourglass soon as you start the file you get a very unique story board--- This story board is my fav opening in a Zelda game. Shame it didn’t get mentioned
I was inconsolable while I suffered through the time until Zelda II was released. The pain of waiting was matched only by the disappointment of its arrival.
I have no right to say which one is best (seeing as I've only played Link to the Past), but Link to the Past was an amazing game and the soundtrack is awesome.
3. A Link to the Past: Nice story and telling theme. 2. Twilight Princess: Kept that shit on the title screen, also used to sleep listening to it. 1. Minish Cap: Bought the fucking headphone Jack adapter to listen to that shit.
First: Twilight Princess (the scenario, the graphics, and for God's sake, Midna) Second: Ocarina of Time 3D (I hadn't a N64 when I was a child, but everything in this game is beautiful and cool) Third: The Minish Cap (my first experience with Zelda ^^).
