Yep it sure does I can't quite remember when I figured this out either yesterday or today I was just scrolling on RU-vid listening to breath of the Wilds amazing soundtrack and then I started to listen to the shrine battle and I heard his theme in the background I actually lost my mind it was in the game the whole time

seems it's meant to be some sort of backround music instead of real ones, what I mean is that it relies on the combat for a more realistic song
