Part 16 In this part, Link has to complete the eight dungeon level, Turtle Rock, in search of the Thunder Drum. Items obtained: Piece of Heart #12 Magic Rod Thunder Drum
That dungeon was literally a mess, it was basically a matter of figuring out which walls you had to blast, Eagle's Tower was harder tbh, but this one is still annoying af
This has so many issues similar to the harder dungeons of the original zelda like walls with no cracks but you still need to bomb them, or the fact that to collect like one item you have to run through like 50 rooms after getting it just to get to the next spot. I don't think I could have done this without a guide.
I'm the opposite I get lost in this place in ways I don't in Eagles Tower. The hardest part of eagles tower is figuring out that last pillar where you throw the ball across the gap. While the crystal switch being hard to find and being far away from the fire rod is worse.
I thought this was a perfectly fine dungeon. Then I got to the room with the fire rod only to learn I missed a switch somewhere. I found that odd, explored everywhere. Only to find out it's some random wall with your only hint being that there's an unexplored room on your map.
The only time I had to google was to find the 4th dungeon entrance, I spent like 2 or 3 hours walking the whole map but I never imagined I had to jump from above to reach the entrance
I HATE THIS DUNGEON ITS SO BAD DESIGNED. BECAUSE OF THIER FAULT I NEED TO RESTART THE FAKIN GAAAAME. I opened the look on min 10:08 before just to find out i dont get any keys anymore... now i cant open the door on min 6:47. God damn am I dissappionted
guys nevermind. I found out, that you can bomb the wall in the dark room on the western side. I searched up the whole Internet just for this Information and how should you even fiind a crack in a dark room?
@@bombasticcat You don't know how thankful I am for your comment, I had the same problem and I've been looking for an answer for at least a couple of hours, I have looked through the whole dungeon again and again, but I never saw that specific wall. Thank you!! I was starting to think I also had to restart the game lol
I think I may have trapped myself in this dungeon. I think I used a key wrong, because I've gotten every key I can that you showed, but I can't open one of the doors leading to the mini-boss.
1:37 I can't get the tile maker to work it just keeps going straight when I push it, it won't cover the whole empty area no matter how many times I try.
genuine question, how are you supposed to know that you have to bomb the spot at 2:01 without using your sword on literally every wall in the game? there's zero indication for it.
This Dungeon can be completed without going through 40% of the dungeon and defeating the Dodongo Snakes for its Small Key is unnecessary. In fact you only need four small keys in total if you know where the location of the hidden cracked walls are in the first area.
