It was going to be a long night for Link and his fellow runners. They had just received a contract from their fixer about this ancient sword from Hylia-knows-when, that was set to appear in the Ruto District's history museum, which they were to retrieve at the bequest of this "Mr. G" character. Upon accepting the contract, Link and his crew were explicitly instructed to be very careful with the sword, as its age would make it extremely delicate. Now, the day had come, and the sword would soon be placed in storage to await restoration by one Dr. Zelda H. Softly massaging the edges of the cyberjack on his right temple, Link would begin loading up for the job ahead. The others would be finished equipping themselves a short while before Link, who would finish his preparations by switching on his NAVI-System AI partner. "Good evening, Link!" the feminine program's quirky voice chirped out to her master, just as he was mounting his motorcycle like a man on a mission. Link could only grunt affirmatively in reply as he started its engine. If he could pull this job off, he would become a true legend among the runner community...

Based on the NES game, "The Legend of Zelda" by Shigeru Miyamoto. Coming this February only here on NBC.

This was in my playlist and I thought it was pretty until the main melody started and it hit me directly in the heart.

How's about this: LoZ: 80s Edition (working title, of course). Link's Epona is now a muscle car built with Sheikah technology. A cross between a classic Mustang and a Z car, it is your primary mode of transport. (You can also use a horse if you wish - this horse, naturally, is also called Epona.) Weaponry remains the same as BOTW. Zelda is a Princess Diana-like sorceress who's actually playable this time around. (The player can switch between her and Link at will, with one inventory between the two.) The center of Hyrule is now a bustling metropolis - think late-80s NYC or Tokyo - with the surrounding area being a BOTW-style open world. Convienience stores and strip malls are where you trade items. Hotels replace the inns, and stables also act as garages for your car/horse. (More than one of both is present.) Electricity is generated through magical means - this is Zelda, after all - and Spirit Orbs (taken from shrines built with modern tech) fuel your car, much like in Mario Odyssey. (There's no need to do this when you use a horse.) Last but most certainly not least is Ganondorf, now a Nazi-like military dictator ruling Hyrule with an iron fist. It's up to Link and Zelda to reclaim the throne and save Hyrule from eternal darkness yet again. Aonuma co-directs with Steven Spielberg, and John Williams handles the techno-classical score (i.e. regular LoZ music with a synth flair). Your remix should probably be used as the theme for it - with compesation, of course. Release date is holiday 2021 as a Nintendo Switch/Switch Pro exclusive. Admit it... you'd buy it day 1. ;)

In this 1986 remix, the Yamaha DX7 internal patch “Electric Piano 1” and Linn LM-1 were heard.

This is so awesome! Like someone mentioned, this could be an opening theme to a movie. I can see the drone shots of Hyrule being displayed, then glimpses/zoom-ins of some of the characters as they travel or go through ntheir daily routine throughout Hyrule. Then fade to a mysterious figure in the dark background (spoiler alert: it's Ganon)
