Great stuff! I really enjoy how you simulate the full orchestra experience. Not trying to fill in the "gaps" or enhancing with synths etc. Basically not aiming for that compact studio sound, wich now'a'days seems so popular, truly makes the music feel more alive.
When I heard your Lost Woods arrangement, I was really hoping to hear this arranged by you as well! So glad to hear it! and it sounds awesome. Thanks for sharing your stellar work!
I discovered your Orchestra I'm a Zelda fan ... Thanks for sharing the mp3 of Lost Woods and Kokiri Forest... I use them to wake up every morning with the alarm phone ... I wake up in the mood !! :D VERY INSPIRATIONAL YOUR VERSIONS !!! Cheers from Mexico :D
Blake, I just subscribed to your channel today, and so far I am extremely impressed on how the Timbre of your music is so... Well... Humanistic! I dunno if you do requests but I would love to see some other Playstation games like the Star Ocean Series and Dark Cloud. Heck maybe even World of Warcraft. You do an amazing job though, keep it up.
Amazing! I would really love to see orchestrations of Skyward Sword music though, like Faron Woods or maybe a remix of the miniboss theme. You should definitely check out the Skyward Sword soundtrack, it's great
This is amazing! You never cease to disappoint me, or anyone! I wish that youtube would let you have a partnership, and get paid for your amazing work.
Probably an overused song and request, but I'd love to see, an orchestration of the original Legend of Zelda theme, mainly because i'd love to see how your style would mix with the epic piece.
I was humming this and my mom comes in all like: "How do you know this song?" And I was like: "Would you have expected this to come from this?" And I pulled up Kokiri Forest (The real one) and her face just dropped. I hope someday games will have real music like this so that our parents don't die of blood loss through their ears. ;u; (Though we never do haha GAME MUSIC IS BEAUTIFUL D:
Sounds pretty damn cool. I think all the brass in the buildups might be a bit too much, though... sounds a bit too epic and adventurous for a forest filled with children and wood spirits. I think strings would have been more appropriate. Not gonna complain though. I'm a sucker for brass. I can only dream of the day you'll do the Ganondorf theme.
As always, good stuff. However, one minor little gripe; not a fan of the really big, loud parts, I think it somewhat detracts from how the piece is supposed to feel. I imagine it being made to be perfectly calm, tranquil, peaceful and so on and that big bit doesn't really fit in with that. Just my 2 cents.
