Ghirahim's evolution as Demise grows stronger is so cool. Even when you arent fighting him, you can see the black spreading a little further each time you see him.
@@voltron77 I've never game overed on it , playing casually too. And I'm not good at these 3rd person games in general trust me, I died so many times in Hogwarts Legacy lol.
Does anyone remember the time, before Ghirahim's true name was revealed? The collective of us Zelda fans came up with the nickname "Debbie" and it stuck.
1:19:29 The demon sword's gem looks broken/exposed like Ghirahim's chest gem. Unless it's a design thing. Neat detail if it really was to mirror Ghirahim's current state.
People forget in the imprisoned fight that you don’t have to use the bombs when it’s flying and that you can use the wind gust thing in the middle to swan dive on top of its forehead.
Demise is easily the greatest final boss in the series, in every way. And that's saying something, considering the magnitude and quality of all previous 3D zelda's final bosses.
I never thought to run under Scaldera’s legs! That’s genius! Now I can beat it no damage! I also didn’t know that you could shoot the eye before the hair snakes happened. But it makes sense since he does the same thing when he starts as he does when he resumes if you miss the eye.
I forgot how creepy kolotos is. Even now it still creeps me out to this day. And I didn't realize that when he's dying you can hear a child laugh sound effect from it.
16:20 I've said it before and I'll say it again, nothing says "great boss design" like having to make your boss cheat 75% of the way to its goal just to give it any difficulty or tension.
Bro that was barely even one ring around tf are you talking about. The whole point of the boss is to get to the top and it develops methods of doing that over the 3 fights.
Uh that’s not really cheating because you are still given ample amount of time to defeat him. By that logic you could say a boss suddenly getting a second form that deals more damage and just wails on the player is “great boss design” Or I dunno how about “boss that turns into a electrified being that prevents you from damaging” like 90% of the bosses in BOTW are also terrible boss design. If the imprisoned basically teleported to the top and it was a instant game over you would have a point. But this feels like extreme silly nitpicking.
@@liammccbyrne4184 yeah but it’s better than the world being ruled by demise. If Link has to suffer again and again for the sake of everyone else in the world, I still think it’s better than everyone else living lives of suffering and pain for all eternity. It’s like the trolley problem. I just think it’s better our boy Link suffering constant reincarnation than tingle I guess. Also I have no memory of writing this comment. It’s kind of cringe.
I was a fool for ever bashing this game. Breath of the Wild made me think of this game the way it deserves: reverent appreciation. If you've watched this video and my comment confuses you, you are an IGN reviewer. "Watching paint dry, 9/10 GOTY"
Imo it’s a underrated gem. The combat, puzzles, bosses, dungeons and overall gameplay , level design is solid, sublime and a masterpiece. The best part imo would be the swordplay because it has actual depth to it . Granted it has flaws like every other Zelda game but imo it’s get underserved hatred when it shines in the Zelda formula. Yeah it’s linear, the sky could have more stuff, Fi can get annoying and having more interconnected areas would be nice but what it does well it does really well!
Link is a fcking badass. He fight demons and demigods to save an useless princess who can't defend herself. Him and Mario should ditches Zelda and Peach. I would be too tired to run after the love of my life who doesn't even thank me when I save her.
15:17 I COULD’VE DONE THAT THIS ENTIRE TIME? That makes things a whole lot easier now.. I always hated having to hit the toes just to bring it down. XD Also… I have a question about the robots, Do you think they could’ve been the ones that helped create the divine beasts in BOTW with the sheikah tribe?
Yeah. Link leaps higher than ever before, catches a lightning bolt on the True Master Sword at the apex of his jump and stabs Demise in the chest, killing him.
Demise boss fight truly is a test of skill to the player. Both him and you have the mostly the same moveset, is a question of speed and how good you have become through the game.
Imma just go on a limb and say Ghirahim is gay, either way the man's hot also could you Imagen fighting demise in the new breath of the wild 2? Also Demise sounds almost exactly like Ganondorf it's funny plus I'd kill to play AS demise somehow
Well it’s kinda the thing about Demise that he created Ganondorf while putting the curse on Zelda and Link. But Gjirahim and Demise in Botw 2? That would be hella amazing.
I mean,, such Stylish fights - but knowing any kid can do this with 1 hand tied behind their back takes a _lot_ of the Thunder away. Not least in Ghirahim not having the No Flinch perk - sooo disappointing!!!! For pure challenge: give Me a Tears of the Kingdom armoured Lynel anyday.
That's crazy! Didn't know you couls steal te lightning from demise. It took 3 or 4 attempts for me cause he broke my shield so fast. And i didn't have the hylian shield.
Man, this game produced kloktos. Which is one of the best legend of Zelda bosses. And tentalus. Which is one of the worst looking bosses in the series. It looks like Mike wasoski and his snake hair girlfriend had a giant baby. And it's ugly. Defently my least favorite boss in the series
0:35 i remember it took me a week to beat this boss because i couldn't figure out how to actually damage them(not joking, i couldnt wrap my head around the Frigin motion control attacks)
The method of beating the Imprisoned without hitting its toes makes me feel stupid and wonder why the hell I didn't think of this during my many playthroughs.
