Not playing the game till the Wii U hd remake, I don’t have any fond nostalgic memories, but hearing these tunes seriously make me long for the sea, and this one especially makes me wanna turn up on an island. This is probably one of your best. The powerful percussion line, mixed with the tense electric chords, and then with a beautiful wind instrument added on top, with a cruising baseline. All of them are perfect and mix together amazingly. Thanks for distracting me from my current problems, even if it was only for 3 minutes. It was definitely a 3 minutes worth enjoying.

This is just one of those songs i cant remove from my playlist. On top of it just being an amazing song to begin with, your remix is god-tier. Keep up the good work Qumu, your songs never fail to brighten up my day.

My brother a few years ago - "If this song (Dragon Roost Island but not his remix) made me smart, I would have 300 IQ" me - "If this remix made me smart, I'd have 600 IQ,".

The instrumentals were great as always, you somehow always can get both the instrumental and electronic music to combine so well.

I was playing this on the Wii U and got stuck at that one door in the cave after that one kid said they'd be gone for a bit and I didn't know what to do to prompt them coming back so I just gave up and haven't played since. This song I somehow remember and am all of a sudden nostalgic for, I should pick this game up again. Sick mix though! :D

This gives me nostalgia even though I very recently obtained Wind Waker HD and my Wii U. This island is where I'm stuck at because I can't find the prince. Such a masterpiece. Definitely looking forward to more Zelda remixes! Maybe Breath of the Wild's main theme?

What I love most about this rendition is the accentuated fall and rise on the pan flute going from G to D, and then from C to F. It's small, but a nice touch that feels.. genuine. Like how a person would really play it.

That moment when you wanna play the game but then you realize your disc is scratched and your Wii U game pad charger is broke and you don’t have a GameCube and everything sucks so you have to buy a new disc and lose all your old progress BASICALLY deleting your saves but have to pay 20 dollars to do so and buy a new charger. 😭 And your 14 years old so it’s hard to get money and and you can’t order stuff online unless you talk to your parents and then they say “you have enough games.” So you start crying in your room

I just played Windwaker for the first time on the Wii U in 2017, I didn't grow up with the Gamecube, and yet this song fills me with fantastic memories of me playing Windwaker at 10 PM in 8th grade, good times, I'm glad to be part of this generation
