Having only played this on the Wii, the non-mirrored version really messes with my head. My brain lights up with familiarity, but nothing is what it's expecting to see.
Ocarina of Time 3d mirrors the world in master quest specifically to mess with your memory a bit. It's really funny that it happened accidentally in TP
Awoo! Is wegend of Zelda twiwight pwincess uwu. Wuffie wink is best hewo. Awoo 🐺. Glad to see a Zelda game that isn’t totally destroyed. Just wish the 3d ones didn’t always have back in time. Maybe we can get glitchless runs next time.
I just took a look on the leaderboard for Twilight Princess Any% on GCN. The runner mralberto23 is the current world record holder with a time of 2:50:09. With the time he of this run with 2:53:33 he would still be on the 7th place of the current leaderboard. This is truly amazing!
One day about four years ago, Dean came into my chat while I was streaming Wind Waker randomizer. I was unpracticed and bad (still am) but he was so nice and supportive, awesome dude. I don’t stream anymore but I followed him that night and I still smile a little when a gone live notification from him lights up my phone.
It didn't feel like Alberto was messing around much at all? It was just a few slight mistakes? At least the time losses due to a lack of sincerity were less than 3 minutes
mralberto23: there's a really difficult glitch coming up also mralberto23: does it first try (ISTG HE'S NUTS!!! never seen SUCH a talented tp speedrunner)
1:39 - "Rocking and rolling." (Link immediately rolls and then picks up a rock) 2:04 - "Right out the gate, we're on it." (Right after link clips through a gate) 2 minutes in and the puns are already first class.
The Legend of Zelda twilight Princess is my favourite Zelda game of all time also it's very cool that he's playing this on the Nintendo GameCube because it's my favourite video game console of all time.
Am I the only one that's tired of runners and their couch pulling the obvious jokes on how they're "totally not skipping X" or whatever? Like the run so far, but I've heard so many couches do the same old joke on GDQ.
1:24:14 Jeah, you are right. The water Temple is under water but the airpressure is pretty high in this temple so the water is pushed out due to the high pressure difference between inside the temple and outside of it. So the water will be pushed out. That's how it works. For more physic related stuff after a game is programmed and the programmers didn't think about logic, i make it happen!
It looks like the game's aspect ratio has been stretched from 4:3 to 16:9. The version on MrAlberto's youtube channel is NOT stretched, but weirdly it's only the gameplay window that differs between the two, not the rest of the video.
I love Twilight Princess as a speedrun. I remember hearing that, unlike other 3D Zelda games, it doesn't really have a Holy Grail of skips, like Barrier Skip for Wind Waker or the credits warp for OoT. If there were only a way to damage Zant during the Blizzeta phase, the run could avoid going to Snowpeak altogether, but it seems like there's no way to avoid the use of the Ballin Chain
I haven't watched it yet, but considering it's a Zelda run that doesn't contain a lot of glitches and is present in games done quick, I'm sure it's spectacular! Congratulations to everyone involved!
@@nameless-useras a matter of fact I hate the “aged good” or “aged bad” thing. I’ve always loved the game and that isn’t gonna changed by other games and passing years.
