Back in early 60s My grandfathers neighbor gave me an allard J2, it had been sitting in a rotten garage in Perry bar Birmingham, We towed it back to my Dads garage and started to get the seized engine moving. Long story short, Dad wanted his garage back we gave the car an enthusiast. Never forget being towed with amazing comfort steering and brakes that worked. If its still around it must be worth a fortune. Love to get my hands on one.
Dang. That car must have cost a fortune when it was new. Probably somewhere between a new Corvette and a Rolls Royce or Ferrari?? Having a neighbor hand it to you is super cool.
I've always loved Allard's since the day that I first saw one as a child in the 1950s, then an acquaintance bought a J2 in the late '60's. I can't say that he was a "friend" as the guy was a jerk, but his car was spectacular... Thanks for making this video. Well done!
9:30 I believe that happened somewhere in the late 1980s. As a Group C fan, I think the 1992 J2X-C was well designed & may have had potential, with a proper engine.

Your videos would be way better if you didn't hog the screen and or split it with yourself.It's too much. You should be in it full in the beginning then show up in the middle and the end. Just some constructive criticism.
