20 pilots, 60 fat models and a lot of fun. The sixth meeting of the Legendary FAT FIGHTERS was a huge success. We had seven maidens without any problem and up to 16 models flying same time.
I prefer screaming and moaning as it's been the sounds of my airfield whenever I showed up. The laughter and giggles follow shortly after my flight demonstrations. I think we're so lucky to still be alive. And laughing makes you live longer.
When I was a kid in the 80s they sold plastic models to assemble - egg-fighters. Remember having the Zero and the Dauntless ... they must still be in the attic at my parents
Yes, perfect scale in flight. Span is 4 meter, weight is 3.8 Kilogramm. 😊 Flies on a tiny 3s lipo. Made from vacuum formed 6mm Depron. A masterpiece from our squad member Jürgen Schönle.
@ 6:23 _What a Glorious photo!!!_ I've been trying my hand at designing a "Fatty" Lockheed P-3 Orion, but don't have 1/10th the skill these gents do, great job guys!
These are Very nice, F-L-U-Fs! More over though, the Pilots and MX crews are super! Love the lift body designs that these ingenious aviators have created. Keep it up.
That Was Different & Pretty Cool! I Had A Couple Of Control Line Models (55 Years Ago) But Nothing Like This! Radio Control Was For Rich Kids Only. Thank You. (Like #719)
That my friends is an amazing event, I hope I can travel one day and take a fatty model to the meet. Keep the hobby growing and full of comradeship. Just love the Baka! I am working on mine but not fatty model. All in all, superb modeling as expected from Europe. Many kind and warm regards from Mexico from a fellow modeler!
First time seeing these and LOVE them. As a teenager I used to fly RC planes but other things took over... this makes me seriously consider getting back into the hobby. @Stephanbre are these all scratch built or are there kits available?... would really appreciate anyone sharing links to the aircraft or communities around them. Thank you for sharing!
@@darrenclark7883 thxs. You may consider watching my related playlist for +80 more fatty videos. Short kits for advanced builders are available at www.scale-parkflyer.de .
@@fpvwhubarbrcsquadron9621 short kits for advanced builders are available at www.scale-parkflyer.de. The B17 unfortunately is not amongst those. A number of planes shown are one-offs and impossible to market because of complexity. No one willing to pay the resulting price. Sorry to say.
Short kits of some of the planes are available www.scale-parkflyer.de. Requires advanced skills to build and fly. Unfortunately delivery is expensive these days.
all of my planes have been hanging or sitting in boxes so long my batteries are toast. This has kept me from wanting to fly for the last couple years due to expense. These little fat planes have me wanting to build and fly again. Not going to get bothered park flying with planes that look like that.
