This is a good show and I just binged it. When I first saw it, I thought it was the kind of shows that’s regional-comedic specific, in another words, mostly Chinese in China or Asians in Asia understand the humor of it. I was wrong about it. It turns out, this show is a comedy for all people, universal. The queen or empress is not ‘ugly’. She has single eyelids, but she has a very kind, sweet smile with dimples that makes her profile uniquely special. What’s at fault, is the queen’s hairdos that are wrong for the shape of her face.

Poor young Emperor thinks he is marrying one young lady and it is somebody totally different. However, I'm glad there is finally a Queen that doesn't fit their ideal, but she is still gorgeous.
