The Legendary MP100 Reigen Spinoff Manga (read it!!) 

ONE also said that he's planning on writing about other character's spin-off and it's been 3 years since he said it. Still have hopes though 😁

probably my favorite part of the reigen manga aside from the cursed forest and reigen taking on rusty-sama is the bit at the end of chapter five where tome says she can toss salt too and it just cuts to this panel of her looking bright eyed and optomistic while reigen is wide eyed and cast in shadow. like it's one panel but it tells SO much of a story just through their expressions. reigens inner conflict over tome joining spirits and such is drawn from 3 separate sources, the first one of which is pretty easy to see (her not having powers and him being worried about being responsible for her getting hurt) and two more which are a bit more subtle. the second one is how he treated mob. him lying to mob for years about his powers is, in part, what led to the amount of emotional repression that brought on the events of the confession arc. reigen didnt catch that mob was struggling and just kept this comfortable status quo of keeping mob ignorant, and the longer he goes on lying to tome, the more risk he has of hurting her in the same way the third one, and the one that hurts me the most, is that both the reigen spinoff and mob psycho itself draw a few parallels between reigen and tome as characters, they have similar personalities (very loud and outspoken, a bit manipulative, but very caring about their friends) and similar insecurities (people not liking their true self, which reigen has coped with by hiding it and tome has coped with by caging her own interests). that panel is the moment you realize that reigen isnt just scared of tome getting hurt, hes worried of her ending up like HIM.

The Serizawa dimple part fucking kicked my teeth in. The world is already beautiful and you already don’t understand it, why do you need something new? You can already effect the world and do good, why would you need powers? If you aren’t doing that already as an action why would different tools change that? Also reigen breaks into a college kid’s apartment and rips all his wallpaper off and barely avoids getting sued bc he just got lucky enough for there to be an actual ghost lmao love this man he didn’t even know for sure there was a ghost before doing all that he’s insane

The ending is so real!! (THEY HAVE TO ANIMATE THE SPINOFF IM GOING CRAZYSDFAFHDKSDKDFSSDFLSKFSLDFA)

Really hoping this manga gets animated. My theory so far is that they don't know whether to make it an OVA for Season 3 or it's own actual spinoff since it might be both too long for an OVA and too short for a spinoff

I hope the reigen spinoff gets an anime adaptation, it's soooo good😭👍
