BANDMAID IS A ‘MIRACLE’! Never seen this much TALENT in one band at any other time in my life! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!

In terms of talent and skill, I have come think of Band-Maid as a Supergroup formed with stars from bands that never existed. But for their chemistry, it's like they have grown up together. Neither is true, but that is the only way I can explain their awesomeness!

Believe me: when you meet them IRL, they're even prettier, sweeter (and smaller) than expected. And it makes the contrast with the deadly live performance that follow even more mesmerizing. They're made of the sweetest but strongest steel possible. The kind of steel they use for katanas I bet.

Those ladies knew how to do the power stance of a true rocker =)

I'm always in tears after your Band Maid reactions. lol. Side note. Miku (little pigeon, rhythm guitarist, 2nd singer), when she formed Band Maid, she was the sole singer and could not play guitar. It was only after she realised that her voice did not suit the music she wanted to make that she invited Saiki to come on board. SO!! from that moment (2013,14) and ever since, she has been taking lessons from Kanami (Lead guitarist and main songwriter.). She, and the band for that matter, have only ever been improving. Even though Kanami is my personal favorite (me being a hack guitarist); Miku is everybody's favorite. As you said before..... Each member is a pillar that holds this band. That is so, so true.

You make me smile I can tell music is your happy place. Not to mention you seem to be as amazed by Band Maid...ME TOO! Akane is a beautiful smiling beast on the drums.

This is the best performance from Saiki that I've seen. Love to see how she's grown over the years.

When you see Band Maid live you will really appreciate what Miku brings to the group. She has an enthusiasm and drive that propels the rest of the band and the crowd. I was a few feet away from her in LA last year and she was incredible.

My vote for the next reaction is "Puzzle" or "The non-fiction days", both live. "Puzzle" is one of the best and thrilling live performance I've seen in my entire life. Everything is perfect in that song. The amazing keyboard intro, the four minute Kanami riffs, Miku's backing vocals, Saiki's work, just everything. It's a rock song masterclass. "The non-fiction days" is a hard rock song with killing riffs. Pure BAND-MAID trade mark. By the way. You're right about Miku. Any B-M fan should kneel every night in front of a photo of her and give thanks for having brought together this group of talents.

I think my favorite thing about Band Maid is just how effortless they make everything look. They play with such grace and ease that I'm just amazed by them. I hope I'm able to see them live one day.

Sometimes lost in all this is the fact that when Kobato Miku decided to form this band while she was an employee of Maid Cafés is that she played no instrument and had zero experience with Western style rock n roll. Zip. She is just six and a half years later a competent and steady rhythm guitarist as she just proved cranking out sixteenths with her partner in crime Kanami. This show starts with a Band-Maid cover of Slipknot's Duality. They do it effortlessly. Po!

Yo, I thought I was a Baby Metal fan until I ran across Band Maid...holy hell!!! This band has leaped to the front of the pack but not to out do my old standby bands of 90s rock because 311, Weezer, and Green Day are where my heart is lol. But these girls are something special.

I am a huge fan of their alter ego, Band Maiko. They dress as Maiko, an apprentice Geisha, and do so with a bit of authenticity. (That is why you can see a thin line of their skin color where their white makeup meets their hairlines. A Maiko has to fashion her own hair and not wear the traditional wig of the Geisha which covers that thin line of skin.)

I just realized he's only seen 10 Band Maid songs so far, he has so much to look forward to. Puzzle, Secret my lips, real existence, Non-fiction days, Rinne, Take me higher, Alone, Choose me, Bubble, and so much more. This Band is amazing.

Miku, the little pigeon doesn't take care of the band, she created the band. It is her baby.

Every reaction video I've seen for Band Maid is the same...the reviewer is blown away and equal parts speechless and wanting to scream out loud how good they are. My reactions when I first saw their videos as well. Band Maid has no weaknesses. They are incredible! And they don't just bang away like speed metal...they take you up, down, back up again and we enjoy every second of it!

her last name is Kobato(translates/is the chinese characters/kanji to "small pigeon"). they actually made small changes to this version to add a few more solo parts. :)

Miku founded the band, and actually couldn't play the guitar at the time. She's been taking lessons from her sensei, Kanami, morphing before our eyes into a killer rhythm guitarist. We now just await the day when she does a solo battle with Kanami.

The pigeon-osity of Miku comes across when she speaks: she often inserts "po" into whatever she says. The word "po" is the Japanese equivalent of "coo" in English... that is to say pigeon-talk.

Hey Mr. Rock'nRoll... I love watching your reactions to Band-Maid - I feel them the same way... It's one hell of a locomotive this one. Each one of them is mind blowing on stage... Miku is the brain behind Band-Maid, the conceptualiser, the lyricist and adds a wonderful second voice with sweet moments but also takes the lead in a couple of songs (like "Rock in Me" and, if I remember correctly, "Time")... If you can find "Freedom" Live at Zepp Tokyo 2018, there is a awesome moment when Saiki decides to go almost into the crowd and Miku takes off her guitar and keep backing up Saiki up to a point where Saiki needs to get off of the crowd and Miku continues singing Saiki's part for delight of the rest of the girls and crowd... then get's her guitar back to wrap that one up... it's one beautiful epic moment. Kanami it's probably the sweetest girl in the world and a beast in stage besides being the musical pilar, MISA, the Grudge is like you say, what a stage presence!!! Akane is the "normal" one as she said in a interview, what she didn't said is that her playing ability is far beyond "normal", she's a machine. And Saiki, well, Saiki was born to be a front-woman - even in earlier footage, she always had this confidence and presence. And you know another wonderful thing? They are still developing... this "Domination" one has Miku doing a small strumming solo (just before Akane's solo) and I'm hoping we will see in the near future a twin guitar solo between Miku and Kanami... and, who knows?, maybe another "Onset-ish" act with a battle between MISA, Akane, Kanami and Miku... ...and they still have so, so much more. I've said this before but this band is in my top 3 of all time. There is soooooo much pure talent in this band that it's insane.

Hey Man! Diggin the Thunder hat being from OKC. I live in Colorado now and discovered Band Maid in 2018. What sets them apart from all others, and you might have figured this out by now, is Kanami' arrangements. She just writes damn good rock tunes, and her and the rest of the girls turn them into masterpieces. When they come back to Dallas (whenever that may be), I'll meet you there. They are the best rock band on the planet, period.

YESS, I couldn't wait for you to see this performance, dude! Love your reactions, best band on the planet! They only get better and better, and they're so young, man. Imagine what this band can do in a few years from now! The insane drumming and rhythm patterns, the slappin' and face-melting bass, the melodies and shredding of the lead guitar, the beautiful rhythm guitar and stunning backing vocals, paired with the most powerful and mesmerizing vocals I ever heard in a band. Lot of folks talking about the instrumentals, but that singer (Saiki?) has also gotten even better as well. Between her confidence/stage presence and even points that she adds just a little bit of edge to her voice shows that. So glad I found this band through this channel.

Akane, Kanami and Saiki are their real names. MISA, all in caps to distinguish her from the other one million Misa's in Japan is a stage name as is Kobato Miku. Miku's real name is Noguchi Mika. And at least through secondary education her nickname was Mikapon. At exactly whatever day and time she first used or thought of that stage name the pigeon had come home to roost. Po!

That's why Akane's otherwise known as The Gorilla. Some say she's half human/half gorilla. Miku's last name, Kobato, roughly means pigeon and says "po" at the end of just about every sentence.

Glad you have learned their names now :-) I think this was the last song of the set and as you may know, Band Maid perform, two hour sets. Amazing the quality of musicianship and as demonstrated many times, the ability and quality of Kanami and Miku, to write a good song. Misa and Akane, add their own bits and I believe Saki adds her interpretation of the lyrics. In other words, all of the ladies add to the finished product. No wonder that the internationally renown producer Tony Visconti, wanted to work with them. I think Kanami and Miku flew out to NYC to work with him. Keep up your enthusiastic reactions. I have seen that certain other reactors are mocking/copying you but let them get on with it.

Signed Band-Maid... I have one thing signed but I am not willing to let it go. Also, it's a bit damaged due to carrying it around at the show and the rocking. So, by the time a new gig is played and you have nothing yet, I am much willing to get a double to send one over to the States. Covid-19 is spoil sport right now.
