I've been a pro (for a living) for more years than I like to count at this point in my life, and I just wanted to tell you I enjoy your playing. You're tasteful, you have speed and chops, great tone, etc... something VERY RARE these days! I have an original "Dyno-My-Piano Tri-Stereo Chorus" (TSC-618)... the one that started the Tri-Chorus thing. Actually, they're all the same. The difference is the original company that made/created the Tri-Stereo Chorus (the model I have) created it for electric Piano (Rhodes, etc.)... hence the name "Dyno-My-Piano". They sold the company shortly after and the next company changed the name to either the "Songbird" (TS-1380, and the Songbird TS-1380s Chorus/Splitter) or the "Dytronics Tri-Stereo Chorus" (CS-5), I forget which one came next after the original. But they're ALL pretty much the same units, with close to the same hardware and components... only minor differences. All the same internal components though (except the Chorus/Splitter version of the Songbird). I know the Alt Rock and so-called Nu-Rock guys from the 90's have attitudes on not only chorus but also on the 80's era... but it's one of the most versatile and greatest effects ever created for instruments. It's ok... the 90's guys only claim to hate chorus and the 80's because they either can't hang with the 80's players, or they're too lazy to develop their skills as such! 😛 I also am a Fractal user (FM9) and I LOVE it. I kinda' feel like I'm cheating on my old-faithful 100 watt Marshall 70's Super Leads and my Fender Super Reverbs, I've used for so long. Actually, they're still my favorite rig, but it's not worth carrying around 2 - 100 Watt Super Leads, 2 - 4x12 cabs (I have 4 old 70's Marshall cabs with original greens), and the 2 - Super Reverbs (for clean tones), all run in stereo, and a rack full of 80's outboard gear. Again, it's my long-time and favorite rig, but I'm loving the Fractal now... it's very convenient too. I still manage to get that "In The Room" sound live though... the Fractal is great, and much less strain on the back! 😛 Anyway, great sound, great tones, great chops (licks)... very tasteful, and of course, the BEST chorus ever produced! I enjoyed the visit. Keep playing, friend!
