Playing King of Avalon.. there's a lot of characters and terms within the game in which i never had an idea about the origin of any of them .. this video opens my mind and creates the perfect timeline for King Arthur's life .. Magnificent video and Awesome Art design.. thank you so much ^^
She was my first SSR when I started the game years ago and the same roll I was able to NP2 her. And I didn't budge a cent in the game yet. I only do it now for GSSR rolls and $60 gone trying to get Avenger Nobu, and didn't get her.
Truly enjoyed this video. I always liked Autherian Legends. Truly a wonderful time as King Auther Pendragon was an amazing King, Ruler and Knight.💪🏻🙏🏻✨
I love Merlin and Arthur's stories! I read the novel The Hollow Hills by Mary Stewart and was fascinated by how she wrote it. A story about Merlin and his adventures while caring for the young Arthur.
Lol Merlin had the dukes armour and helmet stolen and given to Arthur, brilliant… but that trick was used with Perseus and Cetus, the kraken with wearing Medusas mask to gain entrance. Kings travelled with their armour to promote fear on the road, What guard would dare Risk death by stopping at King with the Golden Mask, If you stopped anyone with a gold mask it was instant death from his guards. The only ones who interacted with a person with a golden mask is ruler to ruler. Further to look into the eyes of any king/God was certain death. Rational: the ruler spoke and ask questions anyone in front of them answered them without looking at the king unless ordered to. To look at the king was to look at God. No one look good in the eyes no one looking in the eyes except for another king.
Emrys is Welsh for Ambrose. It is also Welsh for Merlin. Merlin/Ambrose are essentially the same. Probably even the same mythical person. So technically through names alone, Merlin was Arthur's uncle🤯
@@SeeUinHistoryStopped the video at timestamp 11:20 . I wanted the video to be shorter than you made it . Don't know IF i will watch it again from where I left off . ♑️✍️🇳🇴🇦🇺
Thankfully I believe the Daily Wire owns the rights to the story's and Netflix won't be able to make an abomination out of it like it has the witcher and the LOTR
I had always loved the Arthurian lore; King Arthur was one of my favorite mythological characters. I am surprised he has so much character development as well, it's hard to so no one has made an accurate show or movie about this character. I also alot of references from other mythologies in this story
@@yaboyemmitwhile not the most popular or mystical fantasy version of the Authorial Legend, it is more historical accurate on the time period of if and when Arthur might have lived and existed in the 2004 movie King Arthur with Clive Owen as Arthur. The reason why many don’t like that version is because of how it is presented and attention paid to true medieval accounts and accurate historical descriptions on the lives of people at that time. In other words, the movie takes a lot of myth and fantasy and magical elements out and goes about what if Arthur did exist and what the world would have really been like at that time in history. My second favorite version of the Authorial Legend is of course Excalibur and followed by The Last Legion in 2007; which is more of prequel to the existence of Arthur but still great movie. King Arthur Legend of The Sword is okay.
How does his character develop? Also can you describe his personality? Character flaws? Genuine question, I find other mythological characters like Lancelot, Merlin, Morgan, Guinevere, from other cycles Robin Hood, Fionn mac Cumhaill, Odysseus and so on interesting because I can see a personality and character flaws (never much development though...). But I never saw the appeal of Arthur or thought he had any discernible personality traits
@@abominable.7800 The Arthur in Merlin is as underwhelming and overhyped as all of them, but actually has a personality and character development was attempted. Best Arthur I've encountered, Morgana still deserved the throne
You're right..and Merlin said "England" which is wrong....I enjoy this channel's videos and I appreciate their hard work... but that kind of mistakes is kind of disappointing.
@@murilopenagoncalves3831 the term England didn't exist before the Anglo-Saxons assumed complete control over Britain, and more precisely during the Viking age. In the context of the Arthurian Legend, it would be more suitable to call it Britain or Albion.. Imagine someone saying "The USA" while talking about a story or myth that takes places in 9th century North America... it's that inadequate.
Yeah, it is unusual to hear them use the term 'Brittany' so often. To my knowledge, Britain has never been referred to by that name. If I am correct it's an area of France that Britons migrated to during the Anglo-Saxon arrival in Britain. So Britain, Albion or Britannia probably would have been more appropriate or applicable choices. Ending on a positive though, brilliant video.
the sword Excalibur, and the sheath, we're especially made with the Lord Jesus Christ in mind. the sword has the numbers for the ministry of Christ, and the sheath has the effects if I'm not mistaken. the sword Excalibur only presents itself to those worthy, and the rightful owner of the sword. the sheath must have been lost somewhere along the way back to the lake... or it was taken... before the sword presented itself to the Lady Matilda to be, the sheath was more likely gone somewhere... today is the age kept from peace, before the time when the Lady Matilda is to bring peace, unless the sword Excalibur is now in the hands of the Lady Matilda the peace cannot come over this world. the prophecies of the sword and owner of Excalibur are just that.
To those that dare mock Merlin because of his faith remember this: a wizard, a sorcerer or anykind of magic user could overthrow a kingdom if he planed things right - especially if the kingdom doesn't have any magic users
32:50 ..."my kingdom is entering a new cycle...WHERE UNITY WILL GIVE WAY TO DIVISION",... Ummm, are you sure it's not supposed to be the other way around?🤔🤣
