What a journey! 2024 is coming up all goat! I have no experience woth goats, but I am happy for all those rejoicing in the plethora of goaty goodies this year
When people find out I have a couple of the original goats - the ones with side printing - they think I paid a fortune for them on the secondary market, but I didn't! Back in 2011, I wasn't initially convinced that Mill Village Raid was all that. But after reading online comments by other AFOLs, I allowed myself to be persuaded and bought the set from a LEGO store. That's how I wound up with the two original goats. It was only by chance that they exploded in value. I had no idea they would at the time.
For sure it was a strange phenomenon, I don't think anyone would have predicted for goat value to do what it did. Getting them for retail is a huge win! Thanks for watching.
When i first started buying lego as an adult i mainly ordered alongside what i was already getting on Amazon. I did buy a second copy of gargoyle bridge on ebay but i hadn't even thought to check out the lego website until those ai bionicle videos came out. So there are enough good sets that are retiring that the midevil village set probably wont be something i buy until it's now or never.
