It's also a larger scale (10 studs wide) and has two motors, lights, a steam generator, a remote control, 1500 pieces more than the Lego OE and only costs 60%.

I picked this train up for something to fiddle around with looks like I picked a good one for that my slot car experience will go a long ways in motorizing this train I’m sure

Agree to agree and disagree; for one I'd give this 8/10 for the downsides being unable to motorize the engine with official Lego parts and how it's meant to be a display piece despite having proper connecting rods that move when you roll it; and for another I love all your points, perceptive, and opinions on why you love this set so much. You have me respects; and some day, I hope to have one too. =3
