Hey Irene , do you think that the picture quality ( if there is any) between the fuji x100f / xpro2 and the Leica cl worth to pay so mutch tusen dollar more? i own both fuji.

Mark, I don't complain about the X-100f, and many people might disagree with my views. Generally it is very well liked, I have used it extensively, and get good pictures with it, but it is not my cup of tea. I find it hard to get used to the single focus length, and I also find the lens too soft. I have been using for the occasional event an X-T2 that belongs to a friend, and really works great, but it is fitted with the 16-55 2.8. I also like very much the micro-contrast of the Leicas. I might be happy with an X-Pro2 -never thought about that-, it would definitely overcome the issue of the lens.

Shoot both film and digital - Lecia M6 TTL / Canon eos 3/ Nikon etc + Fuji / Canon for digital - so feel I can give a fair reply - would MUCH rather have a nice X pro 2 AND a bag of glass (plus some spare change) than a modern digital M body and have to sell another body part to afford a lens.... Love Leica but.......

35 1.4 is gorgeous for the TL mount but I would use M lenses with this all day long. Zeiss, Voigtander or Leica. It offers the ability to use any Leica lens. M, R or Screw Mount via adapters and it works really well. There are several lenses for the TL system/mount now. More to come. But this camera shines using it with manual M lenses IMO. Though I would own the 35 1.4 T if I bought this camera. Just another option in the sea of digital camera ; ) Thanks for watching.

Steve Huff I see, I like to get this camera but Leica price tag you know, probably I can only afford one lens for long, wish the 18 is F2 and the 11-23 is brighter. About the design, I'm ok with that but in your opinion why they don't just make the top flat since there's so much stuffs on the top there, they can just increase the height of the camera to cover all the stuffs on top and maybe increase the performance even more since they have more room to do the magic. And why they don't make the SD card accessible on the right side like TL2?

No, most APSC autofocusing lenses do not have ways of true manual focus, they focus by wire. Unless someone creates an adapter that adapts Fuji's autofocus abilities to the Leica, there won't be a way to use Fuji glass on this and there won't be a way to use this system's glass on fuji.

in my personal opinion, it's sometimes better to buy a camera that is discontinued. that way there's no temptation to upgrade to a newer version in the future.

Yes, I just bought one and they are great. Take wonderful pictures and you can adapt many lens to it. The camera is well built and easy to use with simple menus .

Beautiful camera. I bought it earlier this year and going strong! Sigma lenses pair well.

It’s like compering Mercedes to a Dacia, yes you can have 2l diesel with the same maximum speed for 1/4 of the price, but it will feel different. If you value this feel and you can spend extra for it… then you will be happy person shooting Leica. (still there is nothing wrong with preferring Dacia)

I own both. I'm puzzled by your comparison because there is no comparison. Four thirds/16mp and apsc 24mp for a start.

If you get a bottom plate and thumb grip, it doesn't look so bad.

It's not supposed to look like the old CL. That was made by Minolta for Leica. It was not made by Leica but made to be a cheaper alternative to the M back in the day. This design, is quite honestly, better. Better controls, and it brings the CL concept (sort of) to digital. It is what it is but it is indeed a better feeling camera than the old film model, in use and control wise. It's 2017, and we are now in the digital age.

Kevin T I agree with everything you said, but I think the M’s are the only leica that deserves the pricing. It’s the only true digital rangefinder in existence, so it is sort of a specialized camera no one else makes. These new mirrorless, evf type cameras Leica is making are way overpriced. I think the Xpro2 is a brilliant camera with a crap sensor. If Fuji makes the Xpro3 with the same type of sensor as their new medium format camera.....I’d be hard pressed to buy another Leica.
