Hi! Great work, and really inspiring vid’s! A question, what do you use as surface/finish protection at the end? Just good old swedish ”klarlack” of some kind? Also, you are just ”dusting” on a very thin coat. What kind of surface do you get after this thin coat? Do you need to polish off any roughness? And finally, great to see a swede in this context for once!! Always wondering how to substitute all the american products and brands on other channels. Thanks in advance for reply, and keep up the good work saving gems!

Hi and thank you! It depends on the furniture. Often I prefer just rubbing it down with oil for that wood grain feel but if it’s a furniture that need more durability I add some satin poly to it (klartlack som du nämner)

Great job. I always thought you had to remove oil and waxes before spraying on a top coat.

Also, for anybody that's interested: it's not just a question of applying a generous amount of stripper, but you should also try to use as few brush strokes as possible when applying it. The more you move it around once it's been applied, the less effective it becomes, and the more likely you are to need a second coat. Suffice to say, better to leave it lumpy and patchy and uneven, or you'll need to use more of it anyway. Move it around enough, and it will barely even work at all.
