Me too, it’s quite long to get to but well worth it. There are full day tours to Santa Amaro as well as multi-day camping tours in Lencois.

After the rain season: June to September, because there will be a lot of lagoons and they will be full. September is usually cheaper, but the lagoons also start to dry out.

Se colocassem camelos seria perfeito, o lugar em si ja é lindo e com camelos ficaria melhor ainda pois seria uma atração turística a mais, tenho certeza quê eles se adapitariam facilmente, eles são animais de clima quente e seco, e os lençóis maranhenses tem o quê eles precisam, deserto de areia e pequenas lagoas de água doce
