#1 - I love that you worked in Van Halen's Jump in the chorus. #2 - I feel like this is the first Music Man Stingray appearance in a Scary Pockets video? Such a departure from the normal P-Basses Great cover!

There's definitely a bit of Michael Anthony in Calvin's bass part, and when you combine it with keys, you can definitely hear a bit of Van Halen in there. (Yes, there are a few folks trashing this cover because it drops the iconic bassline, but this is a great arrangement. The original bass part is fantastic, and it's a full blown melodic part unto itself, but it would totally compete with Elise's vocals. Jack and Ryan took a bit of a gamble here, and it works IMO.)

I'd be a cad not to say so, but this song is spectacularly haunting and romantic, right up to the place where the sax comes in and dumps everything on the floor like it never happened. I adore this piece and listen to it several times a day some days for a few weeks now. Please consider an Elise focused version so I don't have to stop the video at exactly 3:00 every time. Sax playing is great; it just trashes the uniquely captivating quality of this walking along music. Elise and her singing snap my neck every time.
