I loved that thumping meaty sound when rifles fired. Both the SCAR and the SCARAB. The DGS-1 and the Typhoon, not to mention the Gauss rifle. There were many problems with Crysis 2 and 3, but the weapons sure weren't one of them.
They actually implemented the feature very well in this game :-D max draw weight = slower rate of fire but more damage. low draw weight = rapid fire with less damage. Really cool
Well from what i picked up, crysis 2 was taylored to each system and the engine was designed to run on consoles, crysis 3 is the same engine and with new features and seems to have more detail and higher resolution.
I have a distinct memory of a Crysis 3 gameplay vid from a while back (don't remember which one) where it showed the "Hold X to pick up Grendel", so it seems rather likely
The Predator Bow has four arrow types in its arsenal: Standard Carbon Impact Arrow, Electro Arrow, Airburst Fragmentation Arrow, and Thermite Tip Arrow. And with these bow, comes with three selectable draw weights that can be used in conjunction with these four different arrows to cater a variety of play styles. Predator Bow can be fired while Cloaked, without using any stealth energy. This makes it the only weapon that can be fired while cloaked, beside suppressed weapon. u got money for that?
The M16A3 could probably work as a sniper, mid range weapon and close range too. So yeah xD we don't NEED 65 weapons in Bf3, it's just nice to change the playstyle. Diversifications in gameplay help to avoid boredom!
They also focus on story lines. It's one of the best ci-fi game stories ever. And lets not forget there are 4 crysis games in this sequel. Thy even have a Crysis Comic book developed. The story is strong and the graphics is just as strong.
Tricky question but as a crysis fan having thought about it, in the end you are right it need more weapons but it's sadly too late for that the game is already finished and waiting for release.
The Mags must be huge, I think each one they said holds 500 rounds or something. So you can burn through an entire mag in one second. One things for certain, and that's that whatever you point this gun at is going to die.
Yeah I remember being able to use energy in your nanosuit for more accurate aiming in Crysis 1 and 2 but in 3 I think they took it out which is dumb as hell. Its especially bad in multiplayer when a guy is sprinting around a corner but of course because you get a shit ton of recoil you can't kill him.
To me I thought this was one of the best Crysis games and I've played all of them and the 3rd is the best in the trilogy graphic wise and game play and the ending was epic
i have beat this game probably 10 times and i have beat crysis 2 1s probably my favorite game series way better than call of duty i hope for another game

It's all in the draw weight :-D every archer knows this. The more the string is stretched, the more kinetic force the arrow will have, at the expense of quickness. It takes more time to launch an arrow with max draw weight, because the force that is to be transferred to the arrow is much greater than with a lower draw

THE DIFFERENCES between next gen consoles and and this gen is that next gen runs in 1080. I doubt there will be any change in graphics, and 3 years from now they will be running at 40fps as per usual, you could build a gaming PC that would still get 60fps min in 3 years time. GO PC!!

i mean,crysis one had physics and you could blow up buildings it was so epic.....the maps all had psychical,you could get in a jeep or heli or tank it was just sooo epic.The maps where pretty much open world,i suggest buying crysis on xbox or ps3 through the arcade but the pc version is so much graphically superior
Good to hear, in my opinion. Big developing teams should try to get over the old consoles, I heard Sony is going to announce something on the 20th. I hope it's a new-gen console (PS4?), not because I want it, but because videogames will finally evolve some more :)
If you even played the first crysis you should understand how console tailored crysis 2 was. the lineaer open maps of crysis 1 were replaced with a corridor shooter. The large battlefield like multiplayer with 32 players and vehicles, replaced with a COD clone of 16 players and death match only game modes which involve zero teamwork. And the controls were completely redesigned in crysis 2 to obviously suite the fewer buttons found on a console controller. The tailoring was shockingly obvious.
I HAVE A QUESTION ....... HOW DOES THE WEAPON IN CLOAK MODE GETS CLOAKED TOO ?? I MEAN THE SUIT CLOAKS RITE ?/ HOW DOES EVERY WEAPON GET CLOAKED TOO ??
that would require more energy use and thats needed for stealth / armour/ strength ? also using a gun with out recoil would look stupid imo. also if the suit doesn't allow for it then the gun would fly out of your hand or break stuff and yes the suit could heal/mend the damage but then you can't shoot while that happens and going back to my previous point it requires energy to do that...
