You're broken down inside But won't give up the fight These empty eyes I see Are staring back at me If you pull me out, I won't let you down Invisible You're beautiful Walking through this world we call our home Invisible Wont let you go Now I know I'm starting to feel you My failure makes me hate Am I already late And every day I crave The touch of your embrace But now I see, what you mean to me Invisible You're beautiful Invisible Just like me
Katy Perry (she started in Christian music in 2001 as Katy Hudson), Dug Pinnick of King's X, Dakota Motor Co (back in 1996), Roger Martinez of Vengeance Rising (he owns the rights to the band name), Evanescence, The Agony Scene.
Just keep in mind fame only goes so far. When some Christian bands sign to mainstream labels, they tend to lose their ministry focus. I am glad that bands like P.O.D., Flyleaf, and Skillet have been anything but that since their success in the mainstream.
@Rawk4Life I agree. It can't be easy to keep your head when you experience fame. They seem to develop a since of pride, and they forget that it was GOD who gave them their fame.
I'm new to The Letter Black; really love the sound, but disappointed about all these christian music references in the comments. I hope the band just uses its talents to make music for its own sake and to exercise their apparently considerable creative energy. I'm listening, and enjoying, despite any religious spin. The beauty is their own, not some mythical mystic's.
