Personally, I find it amazing that 2+ years into MM2, there is still absolutely no shortage of amazing troll levels to keep DGR and others busy to the point that it dominates the channel. :D
Made me Google underscore. It's a remnant from typewriters where you would physically move back to underline a word you already wrote for emphasis. Since then it has become popular for spacing words in formats that don't accept spaces, for typing spaces into a document for someone to fill out in pen later and some uses in coding.
I don't know if I love or hate Dave getting cocky about getting the safety coin right away and then regretting it when he inevitably key-deaths later XD
You gotta give props to all the troll creators that use anti-softlock areas. They have to make sure they work correctly, even moreso with some of the tougher and more complex ones. I salute you for your persistence and dedication!
I know you used to make the odd level, but have you made any recently, possibly with the help of chat... I don't have the game nor will I ever be able to get jt before servers close, and I like seeing when people work together on making things... even if I don't get the chance to be involved, it's nice to know people are still willing to show their work... most other people who made levels on RU-vid moved on to stay relevant...
to clarify: at 12:17 dave manages to do something that would have allowed him to cheese the dry bowl through the door. he does not realize this actually happened, so he ends up getting hit with the anti-cheese.
Was anyone else screaming “Wrong locked door” at their screens after DGR went in the wrong locked door a second time? Not going to lie, I also felt some sort of emotional or mental pain pain when DGR entered the wrong locked door the second time.
Dave is just in his own world.. Other gamers: I will do 1000 expert levels no skips Dave being dave: I just want 100 expert no skips. I love DGR series
With typewriters, underscores can be used to underline characters (type the character(s), backspace, and type an underscore). Fun fact: a not-equals sign can be made by typing equals, backspacing, and typing slash.
6:19 That's right; underscores can also indicate subscripts when subscript formatting is not available. m = (y_2 - y_1) / (x_2 - x_1) That is like using caret/circumflex for superscripts. 5^2 = 25, sin^-1 = arcsin
Hilarious hitting that second door twice! Now if only somebody wouldn't have taken the safety coin on a dare there would have been one less round of playing through the parts. :-)
It was a wonderful display all the way down to Dave being forgetful and then the finger wag when he saw what you did there. This is prime DGR content. More prime time than Ohio State vs Penn State and with less illegal jersey sales too 😁
Well, the translation I got for "You are a turd" if you still wanna call him that was "tu es une merde". Be warned, though......"Merde" can translate to worse variations of "turd", though, based on what I found! Namely the one that starts with an "s" and rhymes with "hit".
One of the translations I saw in the chat doesn't literally translate "turd", but uses a different word that would be more likely in French anyway. It was "Tu es un con", which is basically saying you're an idiot or a buffoon or something like that.
Now let me tell you Dave, I wrote a 500+ page book and I do not think I once used an underscore anywhere in it. I really can't think of a use of an underscore besides smiley faces and whatnot. '_' 5:21 EDIT: You can formally use them for fill in the blank sections, redacted words, intentionally missing text, and other documentation errors. You can also use a bunch of them in a row as a section break to show elapsed time.
"the audacity to say this level easy" You could also use _ for a blank… For instance, in some books there is a year mentioned in the story, but the author leaves it as, for example, 19__ "WAit!!…that's…" Yeah, that's a STEVO……oh…… …I THINK it was STEVO…… No Dave, it goes "A lovely cheese pizza, just for me."
Him going in the wrong directions made me go "NOOOOO, Dave!! .... sigh.". Chris really has a heck of a job, eh? Lots of headaches due to facepalms and such. I'm not saying he needs a raise, buuuut... at least some therapy, maybe? -Or a raise-
French speaker here. You can use the word crotte and that word would more appropriately translate to turd instead of the other French words that are actual swears which probably explains the time outs.
Are you college football fan and what team is your favorite if you are a fan. My favorite team is Alabama because I grew up and lived in Alabama good video. 👍❤ and roll tide
