yup i would rather find myself among a whole bunch of bears than one really scary looking guy with soulless eyes playing an accordion, and hooboy i wish i didn't know that meme 😵
When stable diffusion made head lines I said Hollywood would abuse it. I was called an idiot, and a luddite. Even though my main field of study has been Visual FX and 3D Art since the mid 90's. At this point I'm just praying for killer robots. I didn't get my zombie apocalypses, so killer robots are the next best thing!
11:42 Ryan, the Russian currency is Rubles, so it's probably Rubles not Euros. Idk what symbol you're looking at though. € is the symbol for Euro I believe, and £ is for the British Pound. Also 1 Russian Ruble is worth $0.01 which would make that 8500₽ worth approximately $100.
@linuxdragon57 Russian currency is rubles this was just converted for the Brits. You don't get 100 bucks, but you get ~ 1mln + rubles which is ~ 10 thousand dollars.
Stop using plastic cups, bowls, dishes, containers or eating utensils, stop drinking water out of plastic bottles, stop buying food wrapped in plastic and move to an uninhabited planet. That's outta solve the " body teaming with microplastics" issue.
If you come here in the Netherlands you will be shocked even stuff what never should be packed into plastic is put into a plastic condom and yes the bad plastic is on everything you see so buying without is impossible here
It's something to try and phase out and reduce usage of. Won't happen overnight and an individual can also do so much about these sorts of things. Like it's not really on the individual when everything they might want to buy has the packaging it does. Not to mention stuff that has plastic you wouldn't really think of as containing plastics.
Bear's like, "Look, you're trespassing, but I got a lot of heat going on. I don't want any trouble, so if you could kindly leave my house? I'd really like that."
Not to mention that signal reception is a big problem even for flying drones when they get to the tree line (unless they're using optic cables, but that's rarity), let alone for drones which are going between the trees in the first place
I got a ban threat from asking it if it could run Python in its thought process. I asked again in a different way and it made it maybe halfway through its thought process before I guess realizing what i was asking and then changed its answer to another ban threat, I didn't realize at the time that it was specifically against the TOS, but that is kinda stupid
I meant to comment Wednesday. Make sure somebody tells Wendell that weird Al is going to be in Kentucky twice next year... I got my tickets for Indy next year. Can't wait
You guys get me laughing 😆 I'd love to humbly request Wendel if you could do a video detailing setting up Linux with an audio equaliser. I have struggled for years and it has stopped me from crossing over. I'm looking for like a soundsystem eq. May or may not be popular lol
@@RaaynML I recall him saying something about mp3s he has had since the late nineties since he is a firm believer in having physical copies of media that he likes. Streaming companies will come and go like like dirty socks. And so will any media you think you "bought" from those swine.
It’s often mentioned that AI is going to take our jobs, and while it’s true that some jobs will be replaced by AI, this is a common side effect of technological progress. Think back to when horses were the primary mode of transportation - it was a thriving industry. Then, the horseless carriage (the automobile) changed everything. Later, being a telephone switchboard operator was a full-time job, but computers eventually replaced that role. Every time technology advances, certain jobs disappear, and some industries shrink. But should we really try to slow down progress in order to protect certain occupations?
If enough people can't earn an honest living in society, society is at risk. Generating people who just want to see the world burn, is a very bad idea. So yes ... Securing that people can eat, is more important than any technology. At stake is literally everything we know and love.
On the one hand you're right, it's just another job replacing innovation. On the other hand replacing lamplighters with electric lights is very different from replacing an insurance rep who at least occasionally grows a conscience with an AI that never can. It's not a swap for the better in many cases. If all the low level analysts and programmers get replaced by AI who is going to replace the senior level when they retire? Wil the AI simply learn to be better programmers/analysts? Then how long before they're rewriting their own code and suddenly AM is telling you just how much he hates you while he keeps you from dying.
@@psxtuneservice Indeed AI can never be really creative, it can only copy what others have created and misuse it for free ( read stealing from the creators)
With only two exceptions, whenever RU-vid shows a thumbnail with someone's face in a weird expression I immediately hit "Do not recommend channel." (EEVBlog and ThioJoe get a pass from me on just about anything.)
AI instead of taking lower paid and more manual/uncreative jobs the AI should target CEO type well paid jobs. At the cheapest end I doubt it will ever be cheaper than a poor human half way across the world, but I doubt there is a single CEO in the FTSE who could not be replaced by AI. The USA seems so hell bent on a large scale war I am doubtful the internet connections will remain good enough to connect to LLM, or is the idea we all buy GPU and run run them locally? Given NVIDIA and the Israeli Company who make the Raspberry Pi AI kit are on the boycott list I am doubtful, or is the opensource AI that runs on AMD good enough?
About Hollywood; I watched several old films from my younger years. Everyone of the known films were silly and corny. They worked when I was a kid and had no life experience. Now they are just bad. Very few films had quality writing etc. The editors seem to be doing most of the work trying to make those steaming piles of piles of piles into something coherent. RU-vid is already making AI remakes. They keep throwing them at me and it is terrible. Many videos are completely made with very poor digital voice over and poor editing with often incorrect information, mismatched timing, unrelated media, and yes, simply click-bate. Eat the rich, there is no cake. They ate it all and now they want your crumbs.
"So stupid at 18" well technically.. you're mid age.. genetically... we just live longer now Not scientific.. but the later age you are to have children.. seems to equate the amount of children o the spectrum now... I have a 19 yearold And a 4 year old.. guess which is in the spectrum...
"I am responsible for this new human being, will I have time for that?" - Akhhtually, Krista, in Russia, you will have 2 years of paid leave, where the state will cover your full salary. The maternity leave can be used by either you or your spouse.
Y'all blaming 4chan for something John Oliver did made my day. It was the bird of the century contest and he basically got everyone to vote for the pūteketeke and it actually ended up winning over the kiwi.
That gun on wheels thing is obviously just for media or they’d have kept it on Ukrainian territory as the Russian military will clearly capture it and study it. If it was real and broke down you’d definitely want a decent chance of getting it back. A failing offensive on the enemies territory though… seen a bigger Russian version with tracks ages ago. Presumably there is a reason they only trialled it.
I have seen John Wick 4. Not one real creative had any involvement in that movie. You don’t even need much of an AI to make that movie. Maybe a single 2070. If anyone calls them self a creative and has anything to do with that they deserve to loose their job (or go to prison).
Can't tell if it's a mind trapped in a box - or a thing designed to look like a mind trapped in a box, but the one thing I can tell, is that it's designed to maximize suffering! Suffering of the potential mind in the box, and suffering for all of those outside of it as well. Good job OpenAI!
Thank u Wendell. I didn't get laid off but man I didn't get a job. Three interviews and still rejected. Bullshit as u all know. Solidarity in this time.
I had a plastic net implanted after a diaphragm-rupture. At this point, my body must contain so much plastic, i should ask myself if i want a Barbie or a Ken as kids.
The RU thing is true. They also showed abortion videos to school kids. And suggested giving preference when getting into a uni for schoolgirls who give birth before that
What do you think eliminating people means in the context of clearing a trench? It feels strange having somebody need to explain that that means killed.
The food robots at the college my buddy goes to are so adorable and are actually built by the college. They have a nav mesh and sensors enough to make the NSA jealous. They’re so cute though! I have stood in front of several just to pet them.
Had a hamster as a teen, there food is mostly a seed mixed with other fillers. On a good day I would give him some sunflower seeds and I thought wow he eats those so fast, no he just stored them in his cheeks
TGIF everybody! 🤗🤗🤗 I've lived through many hurricanes in Florida, but I think Helene was the scariest for me. She was very large and very loud. We lost power (first time in several years during a hurricane at my home) for about 5.5 hours during the night, and I just laid in bed and listened. Lots of small (and some not so small) branches hit the roof, and loud booms that seemed to come from nearby. This morning there's tree dander (palm fronds etc.) *all over* the place outside, and one picket fence that got knocked down, so far as I can see. I haven't seen a local news report yet (always L1T first), but I think we dodged a serious bullet (inland) due to Helene moving so quickly. 🙏🏼🪵
@@Level1Techs Thank you. I've just paused the video to check the local 6am news live stream video, and (so far) there's no mention of any loss of life. I think we were all very fortunate, and I'm praying for everyone north of here. Y'all stay safe!
Those aren't PSUs, they're KVMs, and you can purchase them (and the mugs as well, and lots of other groovy L1T merch) at the *LevelOneTechs* store. (I believe it's called 'ad placement,' and you can click the 'link tree' link at the bottom of the video description to get to the store.)
The bear was more than likely a bachelor male. If it was a female (especially one with cubs), the outcome would almost certainly have been quite grisly. 🐻
21:20 I guess the dude heard girls are choosing bears and was searching for them there. Good thing the home owner was near to scare away that violent predator.
I could use that GPU, I'm deployed and could use it to build my son a new gaming PC Upon my return. His current system has a EVGA FWT 2 1080. Still works well, but my it is showing its age. I miss EVGA.
Will I get time off for this human I created? Why yes because even Russia does what every country bar the US does and offers paid maternity leave. As for Starmer, and I hate defending a labour leader, the reason the football tickets were free is because he already paid for season tickets. Tickets he could still use but it would then cost more in security for him to use those seats than to use the corporate box.
I laugh at all the people having kids right now because those kids will be in the skynet sponsored water wars not long after I'm dead and it's hilarious.
