@@airfryersarecool1139 ....by definition, that's what Keter is. It's unpredictable, so it's not Safe, and it's way beyond Euclid in terms of being controllable. It's not an immediate apocalyptic threat, so it's not Apollyon. It can't be used against other SCPs, so no Thaumiel. That only leave Keter.

I've been a fan of this big fella for a while ngl. I think that the " ultra low frequency sound" is based off of the mystery sound captured years ago nicknamed the " bloop"

Idk why I’m responding to a comment that’s 2 years old, but it is in fact the bloop. It’s not disclosed in the video or SCP article but a quick google search and comparison proves it is. The bloop and the sound SCP-169 made originated in the same exact region. The southern pacific coast of South America at the exact same time.

@@xenbaker3532 but the scp came first, then they just tacked on a name they thought would be fitting for a creature so massive that just moving disturbs it’s surroundings.a lot of the videos open with a description too, but still draw it as a sea serpent. It’d be like if bobble the clown was drawn as pennywise because someone just heard he’s a killer clown

@@loppedoffhead1 I respectfully disagree. 169 is estimated to be about 2000-8000 km long. Scp-3000 is estimated to be about 600-900 km long. 3000 at it's biggest estimation would still be less than half the length of 169 at it's shortest possible length

Yeah, I had to go to google to see what an Anthropod was (what he was saying), and the closest word that actually exists is “Anthropoid” meaning human shaped. Now what the text said “Arthropod” you’re right, that’s more like an insect. Hopefully Rubber is just reading off the wiki story and it’s just the original author’s fault.

@@xbaker3868 The actual article on the wiki actually doesn't have pictures so the original author probably intended it to be a creepy crawly, so it probably is an animation oversight, since most depictions of fanart actually include it looking more like an brachauchenius than anything else, but in this animation they chose it to resemble more of a dragon/serpent. It doesn't bother me too much, just a little pet peeve

Has anyone tried to make SCP an alt reality lore: as in, most, if not all, events taken are true then given an scp twist/ explanation for said event. Let say collab all the mainstream and rising SCP into one story hinting at real life situations behind caused by these scps hence why we don't have much explanation on things or how we have conspiracies and shit. I think it'd give scp that net of the network it has built up

Can you do scp 8264 “the runaway boys” the mythological beasts disguised as 12 year old kids who are constantly being chased by the foundation, 3 were caught and 2 remain, 1 was caught by a trap 2 was cornered and tranquilized, 3rd had to be taken down by 50 personal, if all powers are combined, it would be powerful enough go kill any scp including 682. It is easier to build a spaceship and go to the moon than to figure out how to make a submarine powerful enough to survive both the unending pressure and the corrosion that happens under ther i do not care if its 2 or 2000 kilometers long, whatever horrifying being can survive the depths of the ocean should just stay in hell
