"The Library" Short Horror Film 

Wow.. loved your interpretation. I like movies which leave room for the viewers to use their artistic imagination and express their version. Your point of view got me thinking and I am going to re-watch now as I feel I missed a few things that you pointed out ❤

Thank you for such a brilliant analysis of the film, I loved reading every single word of it. I am pinning this so that whenever I revisit this video, I see this comment first and get inspired. Yes I was trying to play with the idea of two entities one who tries to warn her and the other the dark sinister one which we see at the end. The woman in the painting over the cabinet was something that really intrigued me when I was shooting but did not necessarily think about tying her up with the lady in black, but now that you say it, it is such a nice idea 😀 . The purple light was a led tube light that I placed there since the color really complimented the tone and hence I went with that particular color. The exterior pan shot was an indication of something sinister coming down to the library as that shot is followed by the last book falling from the top of the shelf. I ideally wanted this shot to be pan down but that shot was ruined and I realised that in the edit so I went with the reverse shot 😀. I took a look at the silhoutte and her hairstyle is a bit similar but that is purely coincidental and eerie (you have a great eye 😀😃).At the end the when the door slams shut the sounds you hear are mostly the flipping of book pages and books falling down as I tried to keep the sounds as minimal and ambient as possible unless needed. Thank you once again for watching and loved reading such a lovely comment, it really made me see this movie from an even interesting perspective ❤️The song name is A life like this by River Lume, it is a great catchy song 🙂

Besides royalty, it is also used for the mystery genre. This mansion looks full of mysteries. I watched this twice and a 3rd time to make sure of what I was hearing and seeing before I wrote my Thesis. 😆

@@jiyakapurfilms As for the painting, if she were linked to the dark entity, it would be a sad thing. She looked bright, sweet, and beautiful. It would be a remarkable contrast to the evil, vengeful shadow she now is.

Forget about breaking, even screaming too loud was not an option, rental rules 😀😃

Yes that was the silhouette of the entity slowly appearing on the wall as she consumes the poor girl within those walls and that is my fav part as well 😀. Thank you so much for watching as always 🙂
