no it means exactly what bravowing said. Considering during the frost dk artifact quest ner'zhul is alive and well in frostmourne torturing arthas, business as usual.

In the book Arthas didn't kill Ner'zul physically, he kind of killed his spirit stating that all the powers of the lich king is his, he also killed his good side which appeared as the sick blonde boy

Artin A That is still nonsensical, since, from the audio, we clearly hear the Lich King saying he was a shaman once. This mean the Arthas and Ner'Zhul were one, exactly as we also see at the last Frozen Throne cinematic. The book states that there were two being struggling for control, this does not imply oneness.

Wow goes against book a lot of times, enough for me to not even consider it canon anymore.

I always thought the lich king's voice had some serious editing done but it's actually mostly his own voice. That's some serious talent.

It is after all a mix of Ner'zhul, the literal 'Core' of the Lich King's very being. He was fused with the entity itself, and was the first 'disembodied host' of the Lich King, and Arthas was the second, living, then undead, host, who took over in terms of personality, banishing Ner'zhul's mind into the helm and/or sword, but Ner'zhul is always going to be a combination of everyone that becomes the Lich King - hence why Bolvar refers to the Burning Legion as his enemies - but that is specifically Ner'zhul's enemies. So it is a mix of the minds that are or have been the dominating persona of the Lich King. Or at least, until Shadowlands destroyed most of the entire establishes Warcraft Lore because of a crap writer with a crush on an undead banshee. God, what an atrocious expansion...

@@brightestlight9462 in the book Rise Of The Lich King he destroyed Ner'zhul's spirit. After then everyone questioned if that's canon. Sorry my english is bad :P

No the lich king was created by kill'jadan and put Ner'zul inside the litch king armor than Ner'zul asked Arthas to free him from Ice than Arthas placed the lich king's crown on his head than Ner'zul and Arthas became one
