Thank you so much for uploading this - I have never seen it but this episode is very special in our family history. My great Grandfather - James Stonier - was the policeman he changed clothes with. x
That's fascinating, Rosemary. A part of history. You must be very proud. Do you know anymore about the incident, and your Great Grandfather's role in it?
I have enjoyed watching all the episodes of this classic series, "The Life And Times of David Lloyd George" and the theme song must be one of the best produced in television history!!
The Confession of one of the paramours of Lloyd George MP: "I, Catherine Edwards, do solemnly confess that I have, on the 4th February, 1896, committed adultery with Lloyd George, M.P., and that the said Lloyd George is the father of the child, and that I have on previous occasions committed adultery with the above Lloyd George."
Nothing changes .... the tories and the pigs in the house of lords, have their noses buried in the public trough .. and the peasants should be "grateful , thankful and be quiet" ....
@@dariowiter3078 Very true, but I don't like any series out-of-order. Kind of ruins the whole story line otherwise. Easy enough to fix - create your own Playlist, with each episode in order. Takes a bit of time, but makes bingeing easy.
