One of my all time favorite comedians growing up. Brenner was definitely born in 1936, there's a video of David Brenner here on RU-vid where he discusses with Howard Stern on lying about his age throughout his career and then gives his real age. RIP David Brenner.
The fact that he was born in, uh, 1963 and did stand-up on Johnny Carson in 1971 only shows his comic genius. Plus, he looked and acted quite mature for an eight-year-old, didn't he? 🤣
I remember David Brenner as a comedian back in the 1970's. On one of the performances on the Midnight Special which Comedians on that certain occasion appeared. He would appear off and on with other Comedians like Richard Pryor and others David Brenner wore a large glove in form of a deformed hand. He often said he was suffering from phlebitis and that rubber hand was weird looking. But David Brenner as a comedian was known for wearing that hand glove.
I saw him on The Tonight Show telling Carson when Snip was cancelled, he just called his agent up to tell him to find some bookings for his now freed up schedule. Brenner didn't seem too crushed by the series being cancelled. I wonder if he appeared on The Tonight Show with Carson after he had his own talk show that competed with it. Carson broke all ties with Rivers after she became his competition and never spoke to her again.
I think I'd take down the video and redo the voiceover to give you the opportunity to do a bit of fact checking. Perhaps other facts are incorrect as well. I don't think I'll subscribe.

Nothing thing tragic about David’s life or death. He lived a long life being born in 1936. He was at the top of his profession in the ‘70s and ‘80s, and won custody of his children. He died at 78, and while it was sad, it certainly wasn’t tragic.
There's no way that he was born in 1963, I remember seeing him in the 70s and he was at least in his 30s by then. He was on Carson in 71 , so you're saying a 9 yo . He was "THAT GUY" that you would see on everything back then. He was born feb 4 of 1936 in South Philly. Served in the 101st airborne, RIP. David reminded me of every guy who hung out on the corner in Philly, could always get a laugh and was very friendly.
