The EU before TCW really was something great. Boba Fett was a really good example from it and I prefer his story here than in TCW and the new canon. As a pre-TCW EU Boba Fett fan, Thank you for making this!
Yep I'm in the mind that the Eu did more right than wrong, I've only read a fraction of everything since there's so much but what I've read has made me an EU supporter for life.
@Chosen One Only if you disregard everything that came before, Karen Traviss left Star Wars becausd of Filoni amd Lucas's retcons, she created the Mandslorian culture and languagd which Filoni appropriated.
@Chosen One Dave Filoni has always been clear that the EU and his universe are separate, Leland Chee's attempts to merge the two timelines was a failure at best and all references made to TCW according to Fantasy flight games was COMPNOR propaganda

@Chosen One that's not even the main issue but is still a problem, also when does Dooku and Anakin fight again in the multimedia project, if you are referring to labyrinth of evil then they barely meet? Also the multimefia projects portrayal of Anakin is far more accurate to the films, the character as envisaged by Filoni doesn't seem like Anakin from the films, neither do most of the jedi characters including Dooku who has a different personality, also the death of Even Piell isn't what it was the Coruscant nights novel and also since TCW never ended in the EU it leaves a vacuum between its ending and the ending seen in The Republic comics, it doesn't lineup, also Bariss Offee and Adi Gallia have different fates not to mention Eeth Koth and Ventress which if Filoni's story were to be followed she would have died being a lover of Quinlan Vos which never happened in the EU , but go on then tell me I am wrong or that I haven't read the EU because it seems like to me that you haven't judging by your attitude you probably haven't read much of it. Also Dave Filoni has gone on record claiming that the EU was never part of his vision.
I hate that Filoni is considered as a Hero and the Savior of Star Wars... Filoni is a rly bad Author, that knows only 1 Trick: Plot Armor for Ahsoka and stealing Shit from Legends (Expanded Universe) and implementing it in a bad written Way.
I hate that TCW even exists. Lucas told him to kill Ashoka but Filoni can't let his stupid waifu die. Fucking hack. TCW is shitty Tumblr fanfic at best
Awesome bio as usual, very nice. I prefer this over tcw/Disney Canon. I dont even mind Disney Canon. the only thing that really gets on my nerves is fans mixing canon. It is mostly to do with tcw being in legends.
Me too. Legends/EU & Disney's Canon should never mix like how Generation Tech & Star Wars Theory do. I still love TCW08 but just doesn't fit into Legends/EU.

This is the Boba Fett we all know and love, if Disney would of just research its own legends material and not write up bad Canon story line for its far leftist, woke, cancel culture, SJW, feminist political garbage agenda. @TK--ff5kw lol Disney is going to have to sell of approximately 1/3 of its acquired IPs and businesses because the company can't make money with the direction they've taken. Not doing that would probably have helped them stay solvent.
Oh Boba Fett you are the most overrated/underrated, complex/simple, and most Expanded universe character ever. I will meant I prefer Jango to Boba , but he still got that wild west coolest. Glad we got Mandalorian out of him, say what you will about him being a nobody in the movies we won't have Mandalorians without him, and no The Mandalorian which has been the best star wars in 10 years.
The tricky thing about the New Jedi Order books is that there is so little official artworks that depict the events of the war and fan art is few and far between. I am in contact with several artists who I will attempt to commission but getting together the money for that will take a ehile

You didn't mention in the Marvel comics where Boba was found by Jawas after escaping the Sarlaac the first time only to have been thrown back in by Han when he returned to Tatooine. Boba was then found by Dengar after his second escape.

And he is mandalorian again thanks to our lord and savior John Favreau. He's the guy that obviously respects the legends, brought us back the old mandalorians, made Boba a mando again. This guy'll bring balance to the force. Good job on the video Tadd.
After Boba Fett’s recent cameo/reintroduction in Mando I really hope Disney does something cool with his story in the post RoJ timeline in the Disney Canon EU Material.

@@basedlegionary6877 I’m not saying it’s perfect, but their no denying that Disney Star Wars hasn’t made some good stuff. I mean look at the Mando tv show, Jedi Fallen Order, the Various Books/Comic Material, or even the spin off movies. I mean definitely the Disney Material will never compare to Legends EU, but their denying that some of the Disney canon isn’t enjoyable.

And the Show... BS Plot tracking Devices that are practically magical, Baby Yoda (i hate this creature so much) and a MC that has as much Character as a regular Stormtrooper. Sry, but my Standards are very high. You want a rly good Sci-Fi Show? Take a look at Babylon 5, but skip the Pilot because its Trash.

I make mentions in this video to boba fett's prior backstoires and use the official retcons that they were rumors spread about him that he purposely did not counteract.
If the Disney+ show The Mandalorian decides not to make Boba Fett a Mandalorian, it'll ruin the legacy that the character's overpopularity in the real world started which inspired Star Wars writers to make up the Mandalorians.
Fun fact: Boba is actually the oldest chronologically of all the Jango Fett clones. Jango was given the very first clone, which was not modified nor programmed.
