Filius Flitwick the British Half-goblin wizard, and one of the most powerful and skilled teachers at hogwarts.
he made two different appearance in the series, Flitwick had a long, white mustache that went around his head in the first two Harry Potter films. but in the rest of the films, he had brown hair, and a short mustache.
But anyway in today’s video I’m going to Explain Flitwick Origins and cover his entire life from his birth till the end of the series.

Professor Flitwick is one of my favorite professors at Hogwarts. I've heard that the sorting hat had a difficult time sorting him, between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. He was always fair, and kind to his students, and he was a very talented and gifted wizard.

He is one of the most powerful wizards in the Harry Potter universe! He is regarded the greatest charm master alive, and dueling champion! He single hand idly kills Dolohov! The movies did not do him justice !

I don't think the books did either. I think J.K. Rowling squandered an opportunity for a really awesome character… A character that perhaps could be a lot more nuanced and complicated. A character with complex motives, a very kind heart and possibly very strong moral convictions. A character that I think it would be too nuanced and complex for an author of J.K. Rowling's skill to write.

Flitwick is my favorite character by far. I have his wand, hogwarts moments lego set, I’ve made many drawings of him, a poster of Him and I’m making a profile picture with him in it.

He was also a very underrated character. I think he could have been a very complex character with very complex motives for his actions. I don't think though that J.K. Rowling would be able to write such a complex character as Filius Flitwick.

Great video! Flintwick is one of my favorite professors at HW. I prefer the younger version over the older version although the older does look more half goblin that the younger. Keep up the brilliant work!

Lol, minerva and filius often joke what would have been if they were sorted into each other's houses since sorting hat had trouble and took very long in placing them, in ravenclaw or gryffindor

Filius he's too good for Grifyndor. Sorry I always have trouble spelling that word. But no, he's too good for them. So glad he ended up where he did. He belongs there.

@@WhateverPotter as in more so to do with the fact that magical beings don't have the privileges that wizards have, in both the books and movies it's heavliy implied there is a social heirarchy within the magical community and rules they have to obey, this only came to mind when i thought about the house elves and why the are mistreated so badly

antonin also killed mad eye moody i think, and might have been involved in torturing the longbottoms he dueled other impressive foes at the battle of Hogwarts, and even dueled Tom Riddle with minerva and horace

It's a bit complicated 🙈.One has to understand that the films were produced by different directors. The first director (he produced the first two films) made Flitwick look so old in the first two films. This is actually more in line with the description in the book. The third film was produced by another director. However, he did not change Flitwick's appearance, but decided that the role of Flitwick should not appear in the third film at all, as he was not that important to the plot. However, he did introduce another character who didn't exist in the books or the other films: the choirmaster of the frog choir. He chose the actor Warwick Davis, who had previously played Flitwick, to play this choirmaster. The fourth film was produced by another director. He liked the choirmaster and his appearance so much that he decided that the choirmaster and Professor Flitwick should be one and the same person, so he adopted the choirmaster's appearance from the third film for the role of Flitwick. The actor was already the same 😉.
