Tokoyami is underrated. His character is very well developed and he's one of the strongest in clas A besides the big 3 (Izuku, Bakugo and Todoroki)

He’s definitely one of the best underrated characters because his quirk and character are quite unique and with him getting tutelage from Hawks is very cool. I really like those versatile quirks that have enhanced mobility options. I wish we could have seen more of that hero with the Cloud quirk it’s sad what happened to him 😔

Tokoyami is in the shadows of Todoroki, Deku and Bakugou. If only Tokoyami was more recognised

Out of everyone in Class 1A, Tokoyami interests me the most. He is clearly nothing less of a character shrouded in mystery. Like the others, we've gotten to know him as a character, as well as his quirk and personality. Yet, these are literally the only things we know about him, despite the series about to enter it's 7th season this coming May. We still haven't had any actual backstory for him, and the same goes for a bunch of his other classmates. Tokoyami has Dark Shadow at his disposal, which has up to this point proven to be one of the most powerful overall quirks in the series, so much so that it's nigh unstoppable without light, it's only weakness. He's unable to utilize Dark Shadow's full potential, because he unfortunately loses all control of him in this state. He forced Deku and Shoji to flee because Dark Shadow was too powerful for them, and the fact they couldn't even HARM Dark Shadow without light. At full power, it's pretty much over for even some the strongest villains. The enraged Dark Shadow easily demolished Moonfish, a villain who intially outclassed Tokoyami, as well as Slice, after she nearly killed Mina in front of him. Tokoyami would've actually won the whole sports tournament if Bakugo's explosions didn't cause flashes of light. He would've beaten Shoto because at the time he refused to use his fire powers due to his hatred for his father, unless Shoto decided to do so anyway, as there was literally no other option for him.

In my opinion tokyoyami is one of the most underrated MHA characters.

Fun fact: tokoyami and armin from aot share a voice actor. So "revelry in the darkness" is from the same person who is like " I like books!"

He is the fumikage leader of the bird village

Gotta love how strange and unique some of these MHA powers are. You won't see stuff like this in Marvel or DC because they're not willing to get this obscure, like most of their characters have a number of powers, whereas here its strange to have more than one main power, so strange that the guy who does that as a power is like the Satan of their world, All For One. Like there's some weird and obscure heros/villains in both of them, but I don't know any SUPER weird ones off the top of my head. If you know some weird ones, by all means name them off. I'm always interested in weirdo type vibes😂

Tokoyami is my fav character in mha, but he will very unlikely get any big spotlights in the future. He isn't close friends with the main 3 characters like what Kirishima is to Bakugo, Ilda is to the other two and Tsu to Orcacho so he will not share screentime with them. The most he might get now is through some scenes with hawks, which is an important character right now

My favourite character in my hero academia

Not going to mention that he was born as a regular bird.

Hawks was a great mentor. At UHA they did focus solely on his CQC weakness (which is now one of his greatest strengths) as well as his weakeness to light (the cloak to keep darkshadiws output at a high level), but when it came to the flexibility of their works and different ways to use them they either had to learn that on their own or have a mentor guide them.
